I've learned to make so many things in bulk...and freeze. It's awesome to take Chicken French from the freezer and have it 10 minutes later. OMG...I'm hungry now.
Stew, meatloaf, pea soup, chicken soup, chili....all freeze well. I leave the potatoes out of the stew and add fresh.

I use milk crates in it to hold the loose stuff that would otherwise just schlump to the bottom and get lost forever.
We’d wanted a small chest freezer for a long time and when I saw empty shelves in Italy due to covid, I stocked up on TP and food and bought a freezer. 2-3 weeks later, no freezers or TP to be found.
