Chuck Schumer @SenSchumer I am forcing a vote tonight to adjourn the Senate until after the November election.
The GOP in the middle of a national election is using an illegitimate process to jam through a Supreme Court nominee to rip away health care from millions.
Democrats are fighting to stop it. 11:10 PM · Oct 19, 2020
Craig Caplan @CraigCaplan 48-42: Senate defeated Schumer's effort to adjourn the Senate until after the election to November 9th unless a COVID-19 relief deal is reached because of Democrats' objections to the upcoming Senate confirmation vote on Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett.

There are 53 Republican and 47 Democrat senators. Appears with a 48 to 42 vote that maybe 5 on each side did not vote for whatever reason. Sometimes a yea and a nay will pair up and agree to miss the vote. If this is the case, would like to know which 5 Repubs did not vote.

This is evil so raw, depraved, hell-birthed that we need a new dramatically worse & more potent term than “evil.”
Black-hearted evil, narcissism, selfishness, pride etc. MUST show on the surface.
I once new a couple who did marriage seminars all around the country. They realized and remarked to each other that on average, the women in Pentecostal, Charismatic churches were significantly more beautiful than other congregations. They noticed it over and over.
That’s only 90 - did they just abstain with a handful of Dems?
CORRECT - KAGAN was a Law Professor.
“Broken Arrow” from Nanzi’s quiver.
Schumer triggered the 2009 recession....
He made the statement that the Indy Mad Bank in Pasadena was NOT solvent.
Caused a run on the bank.
BANK WAS SOLVENT—until the run on the bank by depositors.
That totals only 90 voters.
Where are the rest???
Thanks for the mention.
Yeah professors are convinced they can run the world with
no real life experience.
My relatives mention folks who had other majors and decided
it was a swell idea to change to nursing. In short order
they become and RN with a Masters. And when they show up
to work on day one, they think they should be treated as
top of the crop folks.
Never mind they haven’t had any (or had very little)
hands on experience. What a rude awakening when long
time nursing professionals have to break it to them that
they don’t know much useful yet.
