I wonder if the State Constitution of Texas permits the Governor to suspend or remove an elected official for conduct prejudicial to accepted law enforcement practices.

Ogg won her District Attorney race in 2016 because she took advantage of an evidence scandal in Houston that became known late in the race.
Now it's her turn to face a scandal late in her race.

Another weirdo Democrat appointed by other Democrats.
Again, I say, this is spirit of antichrist behavior. The Democrats are voting for / supporting this because it's an in-your-face rebellion in front of Almighty God.
Just like this was:
Hell needed a false prophet to tell big lies to the American public AND put this nation on a collision course (even more so) with Almighty God. The false prophet Barack stepped up to do the dirty deed. The Lord rebuke them both.
It's Isaiah 3:9 and they don't even recognize what they're doing because their minds have gone reprobate according to Romans 1.
Isaiah 3:9 New International Version (NIV)
The look on their faces testifies against them;
they parade their sin like Sodom;
they do not hide it. Woe to them!
They have brought disaster upon themselves.

Trump ought to mention this case at the debate tomorrow night. And at rallies.
Cops and women aren’t safe in ‘Rat-run areas.
Vote like your life depends on it, ladies.
It just might.

The DA is directly responsible for the officers death and should be charged with murder.

Come on Texas, time to arrest this DA. Try him as accomplice to murder.

Soros aim for years now. Go after the DA races in States.
This is the big man at the head of the syndicate. Does my Great State of Texas have the nads to go after him?

Nobody has even mentioned that Sgt. Preston was African-American. So was the other officer who was shot.
And where is the alleged BLACK Lives Matter on this? ((crickets))

If Elmer Manzano is a convicted felon, isnt it illegal for him to even touch a firearm, let alone posses one in his safe? That was my first thought, why did they give it back to him. It's a felony to give a gun to a convicted felon whether he owned it or not he is not legally able to possess it.
So I want to know WHO gave it to him. I know the police did not give it back, their not that stupid.
I understand that DAs have great leeway in deciding which cases to prosecute but they have no authority to order others to violate state and federal laws.

To be fair, the PR bonds are the decision of the magistrate (who is appointed by the judges), not the DA. The PR bonds for misdemeanors are the result of a temporary injunction issued by a federal judge, Lee Rosenthal, several years ago, and then a settlement of that case by Harris County under the left-wing County Judge, Lina Hidalgo. Kim Ogg actively opposed that settlement and has been vocally critical of judges letting out domestic abusers on those bonds.
I’m not defending Ogg on her failure to charge this dirtbag, but the PR bonds aren’t her fault.
