WASHINGTON — Federal investigators are examining whether emails allegedly describing activities by Joe Biden and his son Hunter and found on a laptop at a Delaware repair shop are linked to a foreign intelligence operation, two people familiar with the matter told NBC News.
The FBI seized the laptop and a hard drive through a grand jury subpoena. The subpoena was later published by the New York Post. The bureau has declined to comment.

The FBI issued a subpoena to the computer store owner for a grand jury investigation. They had copies of the HDs at the time of impeachment.
So ... just now a year later they are investigating the origin?

What else would anyone expect from the FBI? They are too busy rigging elections to be bothered with corruption.
Why don’t they just check the drive they had for 10 months and see if it is the same emails?

If you read the first sentence, the WaPo makes it sound like the FBI only just now started to look into the authenticity of this device - as I quickly skimmed the whole story, I saw nothing that informed their readers that the bureau has had this information for the better part of a year. Once again, the dinosaur media has contorted itself (and done its best to mislead its readers without outright lies) by doing what it can get away with to minimize any harm to Democrats.
How is Wray not fired already? For at least the last 5 years, the FBI has been acting as a wing of the Democrat party.
Its like reading the story filtered through Orwell’s Ministry of Truth.
Because they can’t deny it they try to impugn the source.
So the first MSM, NBC, to even mention the Hunter/Joe Biden pay for play story is going with the Russian disinformation
fake narrative to defend their candidate. Sorry, NBC, but the story as passed that narrative and the MSM and Biden failure to reply to the substance of the smoking gun e mails will fall on deaf ears. Particularly when you do not know what the other e mails that have not yet been divulged will show. Sucks to be you trying to defend them on this story because eventually you will lose the little credibility you have left as you have to keep modifying your narrative
