Arent massive black holes already leaking gravity into the extra dimensions? I believe string theory posits 12 or 13 or 26 dimensions. I have even read that a nonconformist surfer physicist dude postulates 268 dimensions. And relatively speaking, arent the masses of the accelerated particles supposed to increase to INFINITY as their velocity is very close to speed of light? Are we seeing that in these experiments? All based on mathematical concepts...we are math constructs of the mind...really?

The point of the experiment is to validate an hypothesis of M- theory which is a more comprehensive mathematical expression of string theory. The idea is if a black hole can be formed at energies less than what classical General Relativity calls the Schwarzchild limit it would indicate that gravitational negative energy was leaking between M-theory “branes” which are higher dimensional strings. The black holes only exist for a femtosecond (1x 10 (-15) seconds) so they aren’t going to hurt anybody at our scale.
Also, the Many Worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics is not a philosophy it is simply a rejection of the unsupported wave collapse or Copenhagen story that was popularized by Max Born. It is simpler and doesn’t change the macro level experience of observers so it makes sense from the standpoint of Occam’s Razor.
