Senate committee investigating alleged Hunter Biden drive, smoking-gun email
nyPOST ^ | 10/14/2020 | Steven Nelson

A Senate committee is investigating a bombshell cache of documents about Hunter Biden’s foreign dealings acquired by a Delaware computer repairman and exposed Wednesday by The Post.

The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee confirmed it is working with the repairman, whose identity was confirmed by The Post, to verify the documents.

An email from the cache indicates Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden met with Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to the board of Ukrainian energy company Burisma, while it employed his son. At the time, Biden led the Obama administration’s Ukraine policy.

Biden said last year, “I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings,” including his reported $83,000 monthly pay on Burisma’s board.

House Democrats impeached President Trump in December for asking Ukraine to investigate Hunter Biden’s employment.

The repairman contacted the committee in late September — one day after it released a report on Joe Biden’s apparent conflicts of interest in his son’s international business dealings, including a claim he received $3.5 million from the wife of Moscow’s former mayor.

The repairman provided correspondence to The Post documenting his outreach to the committee.

He spoke on Oct. 5 with three members of the committee’s staff.

A spokesman for the committee’s chairman, Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), confirmed to The Post that the committee is investigating.

“We regularly speak with individuals who email the committee’s whistleblower account to determine whether we can validate their claims,” the Johnson spokesman said.

Soooo ... why now? I mean, the appearance was bad when Hunter took the job, and it’s not as though he took the job in secret. All sorts of red flags went up.

Oversight after the fact is a waste of time. No policy will change, no law will be made, nobody will be impeached or removed.

One fall guy. How many others are out there now, getting away with similar corruption? Kids and spouses and friends and extended family in executive agencies and departments - there must be thousands of these so-called “apolitical professionals” sucking at the taxpayer teat.

How bout it is very good for the election.

Nobody’s going to prison in the immediate future or maybe never for all of this, so stop the self righteous indignation all of you.

It’s not fair. What are you people, 6?

What does FAIR have to do with anything?

This article HELPS ALOT this close to the election.

How about we focus on that now and getting everyone we can to vote for Trump.

And then you can go back to crying about what’s not “fair”

Obviously the computer repairman did not trust the FBIAS to do the right thing.

Good thing he didn’t, because they don’t.

Ooops. Guess they overplayed their hand last year. Now I think a lot of the players will be looking not only at political embarrassment but at criminal charges.

JOE BIDEN CAUGHT WITH HIS PANTS DOWN----Email shows Joe meeting w/ Hunter's Burisma
associate flies in the face of Joe's denials that he "never discussed" his son's overseas business deals.

Joe, at an Erie, PA campaign stop, was incoherent, as senility "suddenly" took hold.
REALITY CHECK: Joe just got the news about Hunter's incriminating emails w/ Burisma.

Oh yay.....another 2 year investigation that’ll issue a report that says nothing to see here.

In less the demholes take the senate next month, in which case this completely disappears in January

I’m tired of reading “Senate committee investigating...”

It’s meaningless and nobody ever pays for their crimes if they’re exposed. It’s all Kabuki theater. Wake me up when an actual criminal investigation takes place and results in charges.

Anyone who takes comfort in these headlines is a fool.

The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee confirmed it is working with the Delaware computer repairman
who unearthed a huge trove of Hunter's emails on a laptop left for repairs.

One email indicates Democrat Joe Biden met with Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to the Ukrainian energy company while it employed his son.

At the time of the meeting, Biden led the Obama administration’s Ukraine policy.

Yet, Biden was caught in a flat-out lie.

As recently as last year, Biden said, “I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings,”
including Hunter's reported $83,000 monthly pay on Burisma’s board.

The Republicans let Lindsey Graham speak for them, and Graham said he wouldn’t look at Rudy’s evidence, and he then tainted it by saying it’s probably Russian disinformation - without ever seeing it!

They’re lying to us, again.

I would a lot are in on this type of corruption. It all begins its the huge overseas aid packages that started in the 1960’s. Boat loads of money with very little supervision and some enterprising government employ found ways to profit from it. Then the corrupt practices spread and when the politicians found out they and their families could make millions from it it ballooned . The same thing happens with domestic aid programs as well. We have a corrupt system .

BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, INVESTIGATIONS, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH

When will we ever learn? There are rules for Republicans, but completely different rules for Democrats.

NOTHING, and I mean NOTHING will come of this. The powers to be (Powerful Democrat donors, the MSM, Twitter, Facebook) will not allow it.
