PITTSFIELD (WGME) -- Senator Susan Collins says she will vote against Judge Amy Coney-Barrett being elected to the Supreme Court.
Sen. Collins releases statement on Supreme Court Vacancy "It's not a comment on her, Collins said. It is a comment on the process of rushing through a nomination in such a short time before a presidential election."
Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski also said she will be a no vote for the same reason.
To block the confirmation, two more senators would have to vote against Coney-Barrett, but Republicans have said they have the votes.
Hi.
Four, and Pence breaks the tie.

Correct. A genuine two-fer which gives her all the downside and deprives her of all upside. She has sealed her own fate. Is anybody with a brain advising her?
In a real tuff election.
Youll find out what a loser she is 11/4. Good riddance, Tuberville will replace this lost republican seat.
Elected to the Supreme Court? This reporter is reporting on a political and they have no basic knowledge of civics.
Amy Klobuchar: “Joe Biden is a man of faith!”
Well, thanks for that pearl of wisdom, you dumb twat.
Back to Rush...
She’s done, she knows either way she loses so this is the way she wants to go out..fine by me
We need to remove Collins and murkowski ASAP. Tired oh so tired of their backstabbing and lies. My lord! How bad can so-called R politicians get!? ( yes, I know mcShame and Romney and that nutjob in Ohio creepers!!)
Send her some more money. She will reconsider.
I am thinking of a word that rhymes with bunt.
One thing about these RINOs is that no one wants to vote for them from either party.
It’s a Bingo...
We have a double “jackwagon”...
Or, are they jillwagons...?
Enquiring minds....you know the thing...
No, but she has indicated she may abstain from voting on it.
This reporter has indicated that Justices are “Elected” to the Supreme Court so I would wait for an official announcement from Murkowski...wouldn’t surprise me, but she did not say this in her last statement.
Nothing to get excited about.
The question now is why Maine Republicans should bother to vote for her.
I would love to hear Collins theory of why Amy Barrett will not be a fine judge. There is nothing in her history that disqualifies her.
Why would you, if you are a fraudulent Republican in name only then no Republican would want you and others vote for the authentic dem.
The reason her race is even a contest in Maine is because she voted to confirm Kavanaugh. Otherwise she would be sailing toward her usual 70% of the vote.
So why do we vote for them in the primaries?
You forgot the /sarcasm tag.
they can vote present or not vote, but a no vote? OUT!!!
