A new hotel on the outskirts of Washington, D.C., apparently hopes to somehow turn a profit by catering to embittered third-wave feminists and the self-hating men who enable their fits and endure their incessant complaining.
According to a press release, Hotel Zena, which opened on October 8, offers “a bold new cultural hub celebrating the accomplishments of women and recognizing their enduring struggle for gender equality.”
The “thoughtfully designed and curated” hotel exists “to send a message of female empowerment.” The artwork in the building works to “create a message of struggle, empowerment and hope,” so says the hotel.
The pièce de résistance of the upscale hotel is a massive pointillist portrait of late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburgmade of 20,000 “organic, hand-painted tampons” in a “tribute to her strength, poise and unrelenting commitment to gender equality”because nothing says “poise” like a bunch of wadded up tampons. (Are you even a woman if you don’t aspire to have your visage memorialized with feminine hygiene products?)
According to the press release, the tampons were “repurposed” to create the portrait, which, I hope, doesn’t mean what I think it means. (ICYMI, third-wave feminists have a bizarre obsession with menstruation, to the point that they’ll intentionally bleed through their clothes in order to demonstrate how empowered they are or something.)

Bwaha!
From Frank Zappa’s ranch?
Did she ever clarify, specify exactly which part of the population it was that we weren’t supposed to want to have too many of?
I just hope to hell they aren’t slightly used tampons!
“20 or so years ago I attended a conference in San Jose. I had some free time so I dropped into the fine arts museum. Went into one room where some female artist had a dirty mattress, and a dirty pillow adorned with used tampons.”
decades ago i visited one of the Mall “art” museums in D.C., and each of its giant white rooms had a small, singular piece of “video art” of the day ... one piece you looked into a view finder hood to see a short loop of an adult clown seated in a corner kicking and crying up a tantrum like little child ... there was a fairly sizeable crowd lined up to view this dreck, and when i got done, i turned to the crowd and told them that i had heard you could get eye cancer from the rays coming out of the view finder hood if you stared too long ...
“Were recycled tampons used in an effort to appease the environmentalists?”
“repurposed” ... whatever THAT means in this case ...
With the Democrats theres always a string attached.
I was thinking about it and I believe I have it.
What is the most sought after power among humans?
Power over others
And what is the ultimate power over others?
The power of life and death. The power to kill or let live with the stroke of a pen.
That's what they really mean by abortion empowering females.
Picked with zircon encrusted tweezers?
Right up there with the prophylactics on a white house office Christmas tree.
Apparently nothing is sacred.
BTW, what is “properly curated?”
Misquote. The correct quote is “thoughtfully designed and curated” whatever that means.
Low resolution pseudo pointillism.
Probably photo scanned and laid out out by a computer, stapled to the wall.
Paint by numbers?
That French Sewer Rat guy , had all the moves over a hundred ago.

What is the name of the hostel? The DC Unified National Tampon?
I say it again - this bizarre behavior is spirit of antichrist - against all decency
My guess would have been paint made of blood and body fluids from aborted babies.
I’m glad I haven’t eaten yet. Their death cult is 100% evil.
Its an improvement on her actual looks.
