“Problem for the dems is that a 4 to 4 vote in the SCOTUS leaves the lower court ruling intact”
AND Amy Coney Barrett will have been appointed as the ninth SCOTUS judge before Nov. 3rd ...

“yes and honestly I do not see SCOTUS ruling for this den of thieves scheme for pandemic-age voting”
earlier this week, SCOTUS ruled 8-0 against circuit judges issuing rulings that arbitrarily and unilaterally rewrite election rules from the bench based on COVID ... Kavanaugh even added a note telling them not to do that ...
the Dems are batting almost zero on all of these court cases so far ...

Trump and the GOP keep wining on these Dem ballot fraud stealing cases. This is the 6th or 7th win already. Very good.

to extend the deadline for counting absentee ballots in battleground Wisconsin, in a win for Republicans Unless they choose to count only Democrat votes first and run out of time counting Republican votes. Democrat know all the dirty tricks to play.

I surmise that the Supreme Court will coalesce around that principle and prohibit late in the game changes to election law and procedure. The result may be a relatively brief and unanimous opinion to that effect from the Court.

WINNING! I can’t stand too much more.
To: Robert DeLong
Its not about counting ballots already at the polling stations, its about waiting for ballots to arrive in the mail a good up to 7/14 days after November 3, which is how most of the massive Dem ballot fraud occurs.
Make no mistake, this is huge loss for the Dems.
To: Rockingham
Every single late election law change instituted by far left Obama judges to extend balloting for up to two weeks is going to be overturned. Going by the 2000 Supreme Court decision, only state legislatures can make election laws, not some crazy far let judges using coronavirus as an excuse to steal elections.

“Going by the 2000 Supreme Court decision, only state legislatures can make election laws, not some crazy far let judges using coronavirus as an excuse to steal elections.”
Yep, and that is pretty much directly specified in the Constitution, there is no “wiggle room” there.
To: knighthawk
NOT so sure that results will come in quickly.
IF mail in ballots cannot be counted BEFORE 8 PM, then those ballots have to be run thru old style machines by hand-—even if they are already open & checked for signatures by 8 PM.
Since we have been doing electronic voting for years, where will all those old style machines come from???
To: SmokingJoe
Never underestimate what the Democrats can do to invalidate mail-in ballots. They do it all the time. But we will see what transpires. 8>)
To: Robert DeLong
I am not too worried about mail in ballots. Most of them are Dem votes anyway. Most Republicans are voting in person.
As long as the Dems have been stopped from keeping accepting ballots for 2/3 weeks after elections day. That's what counts. No more mail in ballots after November 3. Period.
To: carton253
Because it was rightly decided, one would hope.

I believe (and hope) that you are correct. If so, we will have even greater cause to be thankful for the torrent of conservative federal judicial appointments from Trump and the rapid pace of confirmations by Mitch McConnell’s Senate.
