Dr. Fauci contradicts Trump's false claim that Covid-19 is as deadly as flu

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the government's top infectious diseases expert, emphasized the dangers of Covid-19 on Tuesday, contradicting President Donald Trump's false claim that the coronavirus was only as deadly as the flu.

People infected with Covid-19 do display "flu-like" symptoms, Fauci said Tuesday in an interview with NBC News' Kate Snow. But the damage the coronavirus can do "is very much different from influenza."

“...It actually isn’t as deadly because babies and young children don’t die from it....”

I’m 70-years old and I didn’t die from it.
It was one helluva nasty ride though....

Interesting. I guess my Differential Equations class was all White because blacks thought we were members of the Proud Boys.
I shall flagellate myself.

As an actual aside, the North Africans that were advanced were not racially Negroes. The Library of Alexandria did not look like Flint MI.

And that percentage is still higher than reality.
How many died strictly because of it?
“Mo covid deaths, mo money”.

No dispute from me. I think you (and Buckeye McFrog) are 100% correct.

Not sure if it was deliberate on Pence’s part, or if he was just deceived by especially skillful deceivers. But no matter; what happened needs to be rectified, pronto.

IMO Pence got himself bogged down in the minutia of managing PPG supply chains and took his eye off the ball of message control, which was actually THE MOST IMPORTANT job of this task force.

Kind of stunning that a guy with his experience would make that mistake, which I guess fuels speculation that it was deliberate.

PPE not PPG. The paint guys can manage their own supply chains.

Who are you going to believe, a lifelong bureaucrat or the 1700 actual doctors that say the lock-down and masks are not effective.

There is a petition out there somewhere that was discussed on Laura the other night that 1700 doctors signed on to the above.

Pres. Trump needs to win reelection partly to see the MF Fauci put out to pasture.

This little freak is one big impediment to Trump’s re-election, and that IS on Trump. The goblin was countermanding and sabotaging PDJT since the beginning and yet nobody gave him the hook until way too late.

“My friend’s 94 year old dad with severe dementia tested positive back in May. He never showed symptoms.”

Hubby volunteer in a hospital lab that processes Covid tests, including some for memory care and regular elderly nursing facilities. The same thing. Some positives. Most asymptomatic. Deaths the same rate as pre WuFlu.

Let’s look at this, please, by the numbers:

According to NPR, the average amount of flu deaths in the US over the past 10 years has been 32,743. According to the CDC, there have been over 65,000 deaths so far in 2020. That’s roughly twice as many as has been recorded in the past and we still have about a quarter of the year to go.

Doesn’t this make anyone think how this happened? We can trace the virus, SARS-2, C-19, back to a little town in China, Wuhan, to a bat that roosts over all of China into North Africa, as far north as Russia and the Netherlands, and has been found in Japan and Iceland, and it has the virus only there, which happens to be the home of the largest Bio warefare labs in China, and they are the biggest seller of bio warfare products in the world, and they are pissed at Trump for most certainly leading them down a path of financial destruction because of trading tactics against us.

C’mon folks, it isn’t that tough if you get the info. And that info is not hard to find.

Unlike Dr Fauci, the data is not theoretical, the data is reality and the reality is that the Wuhan Virus is not, statistically. more fatal than the flu.

And while the flu hits children very hard, and still hits the oldest folks very hard, the Wuhan Virus is least fatal to children.

........for the record, I think Trump is the best overall President since Harry Truman. Yes, I think he even “Trumps” Reagan and I loved Reagan. But, I think many will agree with me that he’s appointed people to various positions who then come back to bite him in the ass. The list is long but just a few prominent ones are Scaramucci, Mattis, Kelly, Bannon, McMaster, Gorka and Bolton.

I just pray he does better in his second 4 years.
