Just a couple of hours before President Trump announced that he and his wife, first lady Melania, had tested positive for coronavirus, the world was exposed to the so-called ‘Melania Tapes’. Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, a former friend of the first lady, released to CNN multiple recordings she took of her private conversations with Melania. Leftists who already despise the first lady raged about how she supposedly ‘hates’ Christmas and doesn’t care about migrant children. However, the tapes actually revealed a deeply sympathetic and relatable figure belied by Melania’s somewhat aloof and statuesque public persona.
‘I’m working…my ass off on the Christmas stuff, that you know, who gives a fuck about the Christmas stuff and decorations? But I need to do it, right?’ Melania complains in one recording, capturing the hearts of every suburban mom who dreads dragging the boxes of Christmas decorations out of the attic every December. No one ever really appreciates the perfectly hung garland (or in Melania’s case, the White House model made from gingerbread), but still they soldier on out of a sense of duty to make the holiday as special as possible for their families (or the country). Anyone who’s ever spent hours hanging the ornaments just so on the tree only for the cat to smash the 2015 Annual Swarovski Snowflake Ornament knows Melania’s words aren’t an indictment of the holiday itself.

OK, why are these recordings ok but anything from Project Veritas gets shamed and called conspiracy therories?
Because our corporate media is corrupt, and deep-state controlled. If the President were some acceptable variant of the uniparty, like Bush, then occasionally praising his wife might be OK. But Obama was the start of new era of control, and Clinton was anointed his successor.
Trump flipped that over, and he must be destroyed. There can be nothing positive said about him.
I couldn’t agree more last year we gave away boxes of decorations because we just don’t want to deal with them anymore.
I like her even more now.
I have beautiful Christmas stuff. I put up less and less every year. No one wants to help me. I dont want to climb ladders. I started selling mine last year.
Christmas should be in your heart. What’s on the tree is irrelevant.

They don’t appreciate the effort here either. Went from 9 ft Tree to tabletop and they asked “That’s our tree?” No help putting up or taking down.

Same here, have 4 little ceramic items from growing up in the 60’s plus the kids and my childhood Christmas stockings, that is about it, have not had a tree in 4-5 years. Enjoy the lights but only a few indoors to brighten the mood.
I bet in Slovenia, Christmas was not commercialized.
From what I heard in the tape, it sounds as if Melanie curses more than her husband.
I personally like the contrast between her looks and her mouth.
It makes her seem more like a real person.

Like many children of the Eastern Bloc, Melania recoils from anything with a whiff of liberalism which has become a synonym for socialism, which is now code for full-throated communism.
Our Melania grew up marinated in Truth. Her parents and her teachers, all sent the same messages, with one voice. She understands what happens when Evil is allowed to grab control.
Melania is now a naturalized American citizen. She loves America far more than any democrat can fathom.
Our FLOTUS is exactly where she wants to be, serving in her own way, using her platform to “drive liberals crazy” and doing it well.
The imbeciles on the left have always underestimated our Melania’s intelligence. They cannot process the concept that a woman can be jaw-droppingly beautiful *and* highly intelligent at the same time.
The underestimate her at their own peril.
Again, they look like complete morons with their latest “bombshell.”
But my wife relates, totally.
Small disclaimer: I do most of the Christmas decorations in my house and you should hear the language I use when trying to untangle those Christmas lights and find the bulbs that aren't working. Madness!
But when I'm done, and I'm sitting in my chair sipping a White Russian or something while listening to Christmas music and looking at all the lights I put up, it's all worth it.
