Trump given second dose of Remdesivir 'without complication', but is 'not yet out of the woods', Conley says

White House physician Sean Conley released an updated regarding President Trump's COVID-19 treatment Saturday night at Walter Reed hospital, stating that the president received a second dose of Remdesivir "without complications."The doctor added that while he was cautiously optimistic about Trump's recovery, the president is "not yet out of the woods." "President Trump continues to do well, having made substantial progress since diagnosis," Conley said, according to memorandum tweeted by White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany."This evening he completed his second dose of Remdesivir, without complication. He remains fever free and off supplemental oxygen with a saturation level between 96 and 98% all day."

The update follows a briefing Conley gave Saturday morning where the physician said that the president was doing "very well", and described Trump's symptoms of a mild cough, congestion and fatigue as improving.However, directly following Conley's update to reporters, his rosier comments about the president's health status were undercut by an official who described the president's condition as "concerning."

Donald Trump gets better with age, is strong enough to win against COVID-19 and will fully recover. His life definitely matters for the world.

I’m glad to hear from a “Doctor”, but what did Chris Wallace have to say?...

Wallace seems emblematic of what's wrong with American society in general. Father and mother divorced when he was one years old. Brought up connected to CBS News (stepfather was President of CBS News at the time). Seems he didn't have a substantial relationship with his father Mike until he was a teenager. Went to Hotchkiss, a private prep boarding school in Connecticut for high school, and then to Harvard. That pedigree is so stereotypical of the wealthy pseudo intellectual left such that it is not unlike a 'deadhead' driving a Volkswagen minibus.

The problem, IMHO, is that this type of background instills a sense of 'better than' separatism and elitism - while at the same time encouraging these young people to think of themselves as 'chosen' social justice warriors.

One of the most important protections against destructive elitism is human humility. Humility is not generally taught or valued at elite prep schools or Ivy universities.
