Just this year, she introduced legislation to lower the cost of prescription drugs, started the national Veterans Treatment Courts to help improve the lives of veterans, and she helped write the legislation that gave families and small businesses help to get through the novel coronavirus.

While Martha’s record of accomplishments is long and well-documented, her opponent’s positions are largely unknown.

Frankly, this new Democrat Party is unrecognizable to us. If you told us even one decade ago ideas like police defunding, open borders, ICE abolishment, government-controlled health care, the Green New Deal and major tax increases would be mainstream among Democrats, we wouldn’t have believed you.

Mark Kelly has to answer for the policies of his party because if he were elected, that’s what would become law in a Democrat-controlled government. They’re planning on taking away the filibuster — the higher vote threshold to pass legislation — to push through their agenda over the objections of hundreds of millions of Americans. This is not hypothetical. Democrats laid out their strategy in plain sight.
McSally has delivered for Arizona, while Mark Kelly embraces Democrat ideology that would be bad for our country — leaving us with less freedoms, less security and less control of our lives.

Todays Democrats weren’t happy with his funding votes against abortion and on being the only congressional democrat to vote NO on allowing men to to call themselves a women and compete with women in college sports.
Those who live in Chicago already voted at their local public library. But in the reshaped 3rd Congressional district Daniel Lipinski lost because of redistricting. Of a district which had previously included adjacent Chicago city wards to his 23rd.
That was a district in the 1950’s which was a part of the third largest school district in the country run by the Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago. Those city wards were predominatly composed of dozens of traditional value family oriented Catholic/Christian communities centered around churches and their schools. Hence opposed to funding such things as abortion and LGBT activities rather that dealt exclusively with city issues such as a subway L service and the Stevenson Expressway. These Wards were reliable supporters of Dan’s father, William O Lipinski. But where many had areas with hispanic last names those areas were redistricted and assigned to the Gutieriez’s district. Where areas where buildings were abandoned affected by the no money down home mortgages or had changed because of this. The ward such as the 14th was remapped to include portions of other wards mainly the 23rd which Those results are posted below which actually tear up the concept of a neighborhood and pit people against each other by using division.In some of those wards areas of city blocks which were zoned exclusively for single family dwellings residents suddenly found their neighborhood having houses torn down and being replaced with multiple apartments with the units not required to furnish parking facilities and many renters were illegals. Much of which fit the plans for the suburbs

Arizona can be politically schizoid. I could never understand how we could elect Republican governors, good one at that, too and maintain a Republican legislature , yet send the worst turds to Washington as our Senators. Many Democrats and garbage like McCain and Flake. Kyl is the only decent Senator I can remember in recent times.

He’s a liberal/socialist and if sent to the Senate will do exactly what Chuckie Schumer tells him to do.
Everything I have ever heard about Mark Kelly is extremely uncomplimentary.
The fact that he is married to Gabby Giffords who has a record of her own to stand on that says a lot about her just buttresses my impression that he and she are people to avoid having in government.

Though my response to another Freepers post had nothing to do with that issue, Kelly’s ties to Communist China have been well documented.
Again, This is an issue McSally could have and should have made an issue in her campaign but apparently, never did. She’s a candidate that watches errant pitches right down the middle of the plate and refuses to even attempt to swing at them.
She sucks as a political candidate. Arizona has a habit of electing such people but, the alternative is far far worse.
Looks to me like she has to be low key and walk a tightrope. There are probably more liberal voters in Phoenix and Tucson than there are Second Amendment conservatives in the rest of AZ.
We can be grateful he chose to speak up.

Absolutely correct. I've often wondered about that, real men, heroes, turn into contemptible people in later life. Why do they go off the rails when their first career finishes... It is a puzzle.
