This is good news. The article doesn't mention the revisions to July and August which were excellent. Basically a quarter million job revision UP. That helped the unemployment rate to come down quite a bit.

Great news.
POTUS will be tweeting about it. He’s probably gone nuts having to rest, I imagine he’ll be tearing up twitter lol

Below 8% before the election. This was the Obama Target in 2012; That was the magic number for a President.

What was the peak unemployment rate at the peak of ‘shut down’? 19% seems to be the number I remember, but not sure.

Would have been much better if Dem governors deliberately didn't keep knockdowns going solely for the purpose of tanking the economy. That will backfire on the Dems.
Still, the figures are pretty good.

Unemployment will be below 6 on Nov. 3.

A drop of 1/2 a point in unemployment brings us under 8% and into what the media used to accept from Barry as the new normal.

I strongly suspect that those numbers are still being impacted by the shenanigans Zero’s dept. of labor introduced into the analysis of them. There is no way in hell that unemployment is less than 8% right now.

If we lived in the same universe we did in 2016 this should be shoe in for POTUS to win a second time. Economy up. COVID down, but Biden still looks to win.

Economists had forecast an addition of around 800,0000 jobs and a decline in the unemployment rate to 8.2 percent from 8.4 percent last month. So Fridays figures missed on job creation but beat on the unemployment rate.>
Scroo economists. They've never been right about anything. Ever.
The Fake News Media use to gush over Soetoro's monthly job creation of 115,000 new jobs. Most of which were government jobs.
Even in the big middle of a pandemic, Dr. President Trump is creating over 600,000 jobs a month.
And the Fake News Media tries to paint it as a failure.

That is 661,000 Americans who are working now and weren’t in August.
Take that Biden the Brainless.

weren’t 22-24 million jobs lost? And those jobs were good jobs, not survival jobs.
I want to know how many small businesses are back open. How is it where you are?

U.S. Created 661,000 Jobs in September, Unemployment Falls to 7.9%
In Marxist New York City unemployment is TWICE that. Is that what you want America?
