Retired four-star Gen. Stanley McChrystal has endorsed Joe Biden for the White House, citing his time working with the former vice president under the Obama administration and saying the Democratic nominee is "someone that you can trust."
McChrystal, speaking on MSNBC Thursday morning, said Biden “is humble enough to listen to experts, is humble enough to respect people who serve and have served.”
“I think that he would surround himself with an effective team of good people, I think he would set a tone in which he would bring out the best of people. Again, not everyone will agree with every policy, nobody ever will, and that’s healthy in a democracy. But we have to believe in our values, you have to believe that your commander in chief at the end of the day is someone that you can trust. And I can trust Joe Biden,” McChrystal added when asked if he thinks Biden would be a better commander in chief than President Trump.
McChrystal is best known for his role as the former commander of U.S. and international forces in Afghanistan. He is currently a senior fellow at Yale University’s Jackson Institute for Global Affairs.
The Biden campaign touted McChrystal as joining a group of nearly 500 top military and national security officials who have already thrown their support behind the Democratic presidential nominee.

He most certainly did. It was a tough call because it hit morale but there were a lot of military gaining weight over there, I remember. The Defacs provided ample meals to support high-tempo operations, meaning the calories were not hard to bank, but then there were these other places to get donuts, lattes, pizzas, smoothies, chips, candy, etc. Just my perception but more often it was the females who were upgrading their uniforms but certainly some of the men were guilty of going soft too. Stress and deployment will do that. An obese person in a uniform is a disgraceful, disgusting sight, however. As for McChrystal and his endorsement of Biden, he is nothing short a traitor to the Constitution, the one he swore an oath to defend. FUSMc!

I don’t think most people pay any attention to endorsements anymore. All these dime a dozen deep state operatives think that they are the ones who should be calling all the shots. The only ones who care about these endorsements is the Media/Dem Party. I remember how the media swooned about Colin Powell endorsing 0bama in 2008.
On Trump’s second term, all officers O-4 and above need to be scrutinized. Most O-7’s have turned out to be politicians. A college classmate retired recently as an O-10. Brilliant engineer but at some point she drank the koolaid.
Will Stanley volunteer to lead the Troops in knocking down People’s Doors to confiscate their Firearms if Biden gets Elected?
There are few things sicker than ex-military brass supporting the demise of the nation they swore to defend.

Yep, and my son and his best friend, were both Navy Captains with over 25 years of service and both retired under obummer because neither could take the snowflake/fag rules that were being imposed by his administration.
More officers voluntarily left the service under obummer, than any time in recent history.
A lot of Marine Generals and Admirals I dealt with did not like the Second Amendment. They did everything they could to prevent Marines and Sailors from owning guns. They made it a hassle to keep one so people would not buy them. Despite their best efforts base housing was like an armory. A few years back when I was a DOD employee, the local General banned pistols on base even if you had a concealed carry permit. Did not matter, most Marines I knew had a gun in their vehicle. As for McCrystal he is a liberal, Obama appointee why would anyone expect anything else from that $hithead. People like him and Mattis need to understand something. When you retire your shelf life becomes limited. You served with honor and distinction, people respect that. However, nobody cares what you think anymore, so shut up and move on.
I knew more then a few Junior and Senior officers that retired as O4s and O5s rather then serve any longer as Obama/Biden destroyed the military.
How many American soldiers were killed in Trashkanistan under McChrystal’s leadership and how many have been killed under Trump’s?
