I think the FBI should be folded into the Department of Homeland security and anything the FBI does that is duplicated already can be given to DHS to run. The labs and other services can be put under DHS control immediately. FBI agents can be revetted and hired into DHS and the entire FBI upper echelon, the political appointees fired. The rest who can’t be fired or let go can be given a desk and phone and a pen and a pad of paper and made to sit there with no cell phone or computer allowed for 8 hours each day. They can do this until they get sick of it and resign or if something comes up that the services of such people could be utilized again.
I read in a history book that those “bipartisan commissions” used to be called elections once upon a time.
That's because once these people are entrenched, they hire and promote the same types of people.
No government agency should be able to do their own hiring. None. It should be like jury duty, where a group of private citizens (chosen randomly but with experience in the field of hire) are picked (say about 20) to vet and hire people. Each group should be given 10 positions to fill, and then the group changes.
You cannot let bureaucrats decide who gets to be bureaucrat with them.
For the FBI, you would pick your group of private citizens from say, detectives, a few attorneys, police (including police forensics), some with expertise in IT, a privacy ethicist or two, and then a certain percentage from the voting public.
Lefties leave out the will of the voters? They make the choices and we have no choices but what we are allowed by them? Are you kidding me?
They have always left out the will of the voters in their Democrat primaries. Thats the purpose of super delegates - thats how they defeated Bernie Sanders twice even though he was the most popular with the voters.
Just arbitrarily award super delegates, and the DNC can nominate whomever they want, regardless of the voters.
Is they want to force the Republicans to do the same thing by setting up a bipartisan commission.

I have worked for both federal and civil large organizations; the “rank and file” always know what’s going on from the top down.
If, and that’s a mighty BIG IF, the rest of the FBI people (the 99%) didn’t know what their bosses were up to, then they are INCOMPETENT and should be FIRED!
Out of that 99% it just seems strange to me that NOT ONE of them was willing to blow the whistle on their corrupt bosses, they were all complicit in the crimes being committed and not a SINGLE ONE was willing to come forward.
The whole organization is rotten; and every officer, clerk, and janitor should be fired.
Then you can start to rehire and rebuild.
The only “we” involved is We The People, and “bipartisan” is unconstitutional, as is any invocation of party membership. Mr. Figluizzi might want to actually read that document that he once swore to support and defend.
I don’t think Trump will see another term, even if he wins enough votes for an electoral college victory. The DC powers will do everything to prevent certification and push it to the House for Nancy to select Biden. There’s no way another Trump term will be allowed by the Uniparty.
State certifications for Trump will be contested and courts will be involved. Any ideas on which way the DC circuit would go?
