On Wednesdays broadcast of MSNBCs The ReidOut, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said that he would love to make D.C. and Puerto Rico states and addressed the prospect of ending the filibuster if Democrats take the Senate by stating, Im not busting my chops to become majority leader to do very little or nothing. We are going to get a whole lot done. And as Ive said, everything, everything is on the table.
Schumer said that Senate Democrats are using all the tactics we can to slow down Judge Amy Coney Barretts Supreme Court confirmation.

Requires a Constitutional amendment and 2/3 of the States’ agreement?
For both?
Well, just do by Executive Order.

Typical democrat move. When they can’t win with the existing rules, change the rules to their advantage.

What does Guam’s social/political demographic look like? I’m asking because I don’t know.
Also, wasn’t there something about Virginia splitting up? I think maybe that’s something we should look at making happen if we get the WH and get the house back. Where else can we get more Senators? British Columbia? lol

Democrats will become much more hysterical and unpredictable as the election draws closer... Trump will obviously need to designate the Democrat party as a ‘terrorist’ organization and have all their leaders jailed and hopefully tortured... Just kidding... Or are we?
Sadly, many Democrats think the above outcome is likely.

Would making DC a state require a Constitutional Amendment?
To: ChicagoConservative27
Uh, for DC there is this dumb little thing called the constitution. It's a federal district in a federation of sovereign states from which it's sovereignty flows. That the federal government exercising powers for the collection of states through it's representatives should have two of its own Senators undermines the very foundation of our constitution.
But that document doesn't seem to mean anything any more unless you want to attack conservatives of violating it for wanting to uphold it.

Instead they should eliminate DC Government and Maryland should annex all but the official Government area of DC.
I live in Maryland and realize that it will further destroy the cesspool
