Needs Oregon ping.
PA sheriff just recent endorsed the President.
Could be a simple slip.
Or it could be trolling to make sure that everyone in Oregon knows that their sheriff does not support law and order.
Trump was probably talking about a sheriff near the portland area, there are lots of them. I’m sure he will clear it up soon.
Whether that Sherrif supports Trump or not, Trump supports him.
I thought I heard about a Portland endorsement last week. Anyone know of one?
I refer Freepers to my tagline.
and that is why their county burns. They don’t understand. Anything. You name it, they don’t understand it.
It’s Portland; the butthole of the bluest area of Oregon.
That sheriff could expect a midnight visit by Antifa if he were to endorse Trump.
This sheriff should resign.
If that’s their take on things, they’re not fit to hold the
office.
I expect lame-brains to get it wrong. I don’t expect
someone with authority to.
Evidently this sheriff can’t even live up to their oath of
office.
Resign then.
Kenosha Sheriff supports Trump
He said Sheriff (he meant Chief of Police)
Portland Chief of Police publicity supports him, not Multnomah County Sheriff
He’s run on a no-party affiliation, so he apparently doesn’t like to take sides. He can’t get off the fence. I would be very uneasy working for someone who doesn’t support the candidate that is pushing for law and order. I’d think he doesn’t have my back.
Trump has been endorsed by:
Greg Barreto, member of the Oregon House of Representatives from the 58th District (2015present)[157]
Vikki Breese-Iverson, member of the Oregon House of Representatives from the 55th District (2019present)[157]
E. Werner Reschke, member of the Oregon House of Representatives from the 56th District (2017present)[157]
International Union of Police Associations, representing 19,200[429]
National Association of Police Organizations, representing 362,000[432]

The Fraternal Order of Police, the largest police union in the U.S.

since most police belong to one of the above assn.’s, it would seem that the Multnomah sheriff is pretty much out of step with his own guys.
full disclosure: the Portland DA, the one refusing to prosecute the pantifa rioters, has endorsed Biden
Do you guys not see how this works? Trump’s “slip of the tongue” serves only to bring more attention to his mountain of support from law enforcement.
Trump’s game, admittedly, is still mostly above my head, but I’m having the time of my life in the attempt to catch up!
Note first that Portland does NOT HAVE A SHERIFF. So the fact check is false — this guy is not the sheriff of the city of portland, so he cannot “refute” an endorsement that doesn’t mention him.
Second, Trump clearly meant the Westmoreland Sheriff, not the Portland Sheriff. There IS a Westmoreland Sheriff, he was a democrat, and he just endorsed Trump and became a republican.
So the CORRECT fact check would be “Trump confuses Portland and Westmoreland when touting a Sheriff endorsement.”
well we know that biden supports ANTIFA TERRORISM.....
