Fox News host Chris Wallace, a registered Democrat, faced intense backlash on Tuesday night for what was widely deemed as bias in the debate in the favor of Democrat Joe Biden and against Republican President Donald Trump.
One of the issues that Wallace was called out for the most was how he appeared to let Biden interrupt Trump but would jump in to interrupt Trump when Trump would talk over Biden.
Fox News host Brian Kilmeade even noted the discrepancy and called it out on social media, writing: “Why is @JoeBiden allowed to interrupt? @realDonaldTrump is not.”
Fox News contributor Andy McCarthy wrote: “I love Chris Wallace, but he should get out of the way.”
McCarthy added: “Biden doesn’t support the Green New Deal. Oh, Wallace got that out of him? No, Trump did. Oh, well, did Wallace clarify what’s parts of Green New Deal Biden is against? No, needed to move on …”
Fox News host Greg Gutfeld said that it was “not good” when Wallace reportedly laughed with Biden.

Some of us loved Trump’s performance. Most FReepers would have preferred Romney up there so they could lose with dignity.

I thought Trump was kinda screwed with this populist taxing stuff this late, but I think the NYT/dems pulled the trigger too early and it’ll be a big dud. It’ll probably affect his polls this week, but I think he’ll bounce back.

My favorite part was when Trump said regarding Russia “we got it on tape”...with Obama”. The look on Biden’s face was priceless.

This is the comparison the American Public needs to make. Namely, who has the energy to be President.
Let’s start comparing Trump’s schedule of activities to Biden’s and the choice is obvious.
So, is Wallace going to hold Biden’s hand through the next 2 debates and answer for him when necessary? Trump said at the outset that it looked like he was going to have to debate Wallace more than Biden. He was right. Wallace let Biden get away with outrageous lies and he himself even brought up the Charlottesville Hoax giving Biden a complete setup.
Didn’t Tony snow leave Fox before he died? IIRC, he went to nbc or something.

I agree but I think it was “choose one of these leftist yahoos or no debates” and Trump REALLY wanted to wipe the floor with slo joe and his ho.
This is of course guesswork. How and why the President allows the left to continue to dominate this and then lie about it the next AM, I have no idea.
There is no way a Democrat would ever agree to a debate unless they knew the moderator was on their side.

Wallace was terrible, very disrespectful of the President, badgering him and cutting him off. AND, never followed up on Biden’s unbelievable statements about ANTFA or packing the court. And shut down Trump during te Hunter exchange. The making remarks to support Biden, I could pick a few dozen biased things Wallace was guilty of, perhaps the worst moderated debate in modern history and Wallace owes Trump and Trump voters an apology. pathetic.
How about NO moderators, just TIMEKEEPERS and let the two candidates question each other.

It’s already a big dud....the press is using the white supremacy thing against him not the tax thing. The reason is is that it invites scrutiny of Biden’s sketchy use of s corporations to avoid paying taxes as well as all that money flowing around between him and hunter. So the tax thing is going away real quick....they got most of trump’s taxes so the political issue about Trump not putting out his copies has also gone away. It would have been better not to have put them out to keep the tax obstruction issue as a negative against Trump. So I think it is strategic error on the leftists’ part and I think they are becoming aware of their real boner of an error. The leftists have just outed themselves as enemies of the 5th thru the 8th amendments. No one’s personal property, papers and privacy is safe under the dem’s!
