YOU WILL NEVER BE SORRY FOR:

...thinking before speaking,

...hearing before judging,

...forgiving your enemies,

...being candid and frank,

...helping a fallen friend,

...being honest in your work,

...standing by your principles,

...blocking your ears to gossip,

...being courteous and kind.

Howdy, Kathy.

Having a relaxing weekend so far?
It looks like we had similar skies today - - mostly cloudy with the sun peeking out every now and then. Ours is completely clear now.
Until tomorrow.

Howdy, PRO.

Love the new McNaughton sketch!

How are things up your way these days? Fall weather moving in to stay yet? We had a little taste of it this week but it’s warmed back up a little. This time next week it’ll really feel like fall.

I like the warm days, cool nights in the 40's, not so much.

I'm with you on that! We'll be there this time next week. 'Bout time to start freshening up the flannel shirts and the sweaters.

I’ve broken out my sweat shirts for daily wear again.

We aren’t there just yet. I wore long-sleeve t-shirts a couple of days this past week but now it’s warm enough for short sleeves again.

Until next Friday.

We just hope for a little bit of autumn this year. Last year we were still dealing with temps in the 90s into October then BAM! Winter.

Hiya radu!

Summer disappeared here fast and Fall has come with a vengeance, and rain!

Cold now at night, actually had to crank the heat up this morning and shorts are being replaced by jeans. We're only in the '60's lately but warmer weather is forecast.

I need to mow at Robin's tomorrow, hope it dries out.

'Sup your way and how the kittehs doing?

Good evening, radu...hope your day has gone well. Not too many allergies acting up? Any possibility of rain?

A Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.

Howdy, luvie.

How are things down your way? Have you finally recuperated from your trip? :-)

Rain? Great! I hope it’s raining enough to help with the wildfires out there.
I reckon we’ll be turning the heat on at night here next week. Maybe what you have now is coming here. For now the days are warm and the nights are just a little cool. Feels pretty nice.

The kittehs are doing well. Ol’ Jobu has turned into a total mush-bucket and I’m thoroughly in love with that feller. Too bad we can’t let him come inside but Jasper and he would destroy the house fighting.

Tried to work and listen for the mailman too. Never heard him, but when I went out earlier to take a picture of my mailbox, the post office package guy was delivering across the street.

I flagged him down and asked the procedure and might I be able to get porch delivery for a few days. He told me which post office to call as they do my route. Of course no answer...it's Saturday. I'm hoping I don't have to go to the post office to pick up my mail. If I do, I'll go next Saturday. Called a couple people...hope I can get a new one this week some time. We will see.

Have some leaves....

Hey there, Kathy.

It’s been a quiet day. Just been taking care of housework and such. Allergies haven’t bothered us too much today and we’re grateful for that.
No rain today but we might get a little tomorrow, then more Monday afternoon.

Hey, there, radu!

Things are fine here. It was hot today and will be flamin’ tomorrow until the wind moves to the north and the cold front roars in. It will go from just about 100 to 57 in a matter of hours. Finally.

Hope things were good for you. Did you get any more rain? Are your leaves turning yet?

DANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How on earth did anyone hit your mailbox that hard in your cul-de-sac??? You weren’t kidding when you said it was destroyed! I hope the PO will agree to porch delivery for the time being.

SOME leaves? LOL! They sure are dropping in a hurry, aren’t they? How are the ducks going to find their corn in that carpet?

The leaves haven’t begun to turn here yet. It won’t be much longer though.

Hot still? Yuck. I guess the front that will cool you off is the one we expect later next week though our days will be in the mid-60s. Lows will be in the mid-40s.

No rain today but we could get a little tomorrow. Better chance Monday. Just a bit cloudy today but it’s clear now, with a bright moon shining.

No, the leaves aren’t turning just yet. It hasn’t been cold enough yet. Maybe after the cold front comes through next week a few will start turning.

The bad news about the cold front is that it’s going to be extremely windy, so here that means blowing sand and all the cotton crap from the Lubbock area that I am so allergic to. LOL!

Hope you get more rain. One of us should anyway! LOL!

Yeah, there’s always that darn wind with the fronts and that’s rough for y’all with the dust it kicks up.
I don’t know what’s coming through Mon. that will give us rain but I don’t think rain’s expected with the cold front when it comes through sometime Thursday.
