President Donald Trump’s deputies at the departments of state and homeland security are offering a huge giveaway to at least 400,000 foreign visa workers and their Fortune 500 employers just before the November election.
The simultaneous giveaway by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is a “crazy [good] thing,” he said on September 24. But he warned that agency officials may quickly suspend their action once they see how many Indian visa workers will claim the surprise benefit. “Good times,” he tweeted.
“The people who are getting screwed are likely Trump voters,” said Jessica Vaughan, policy director at the Center for Immigration Studies. “This policy is sticking a knife in the back of [college graduate] people who would be his supporters.”
Trump can quickly reverse his deputies’ hidden, pre-election giveaway, said Vaughan, “if he finds out about it.”
“Trump could stop this if he wanted to,” said a September 24 statement from U.S. Tech Workers, which represents U.S. white-collar professionals. “He just needs to instruct [DHS] to not adhere to the Filing chart published by the State Dept.”
But if the Indians can get the green cards, it becomes easier for the Fortune 500 to recruit more Indian visa workers to fill out more U.S. jobs. The “effect would be to encourage more Indians to come over,” said Sara Blackwell, a Florida-based lawyer who helps Americans oppose the expanded use of visa workers.

“It is coming from “those in the administration who are looking out for the interests of the employers, who are playing the role of lobbyist for the employers, and are most interested in filling the agenda of the employers rather than pushing [President Trump’s] pro-American worker agenda,” she said. “They think they have to do it to get the support of the big employers — but they will never get support from big tech and Silicon Valley,” she said.
So glad the hollowing out of the Middle Class continues. We can’t have STEM jobs paying more than Walmart greeters, can we?
Career federal employees are mostly Democrats and never-Trumpers - methnks this is an attack on POTUS - no doubt!! And they are probably protected by the government employees union contract. That contract is a cancer to America.
They don’t care about getting support from the employers for Trump.
They care about the fantastic sums they are getting (likely illegally) for doing this.
When I think about how I (justly) got punished for a few things I did in my youth...those things were like stealing a 25 cent pack of gum compared to what our esteemed workers and reps in government do.

It’s a sell-out. President Trump needs to commit to the following.
The Deplorables want a Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement bill, missing since 1986 ONE TIME amnesty. Since that amnesty was granted already, a second amnesty is off the table. What remains is the enforcement the Democrats have disallowed since then.
The List of Comprehensive Immigration Enforcement, missing since 1986 goes like this -
1) southern barrier;
2) require eVerify to hire;
3) end all chain migration;
4) birthright per Minor v. Happersett (plural parents);
5) end work visas;
6) 10-year moratorium on all new applications for citizenship (40 years to allow workplace automation effects on downsizing population);
7) Set up an illegal aliens’ victim restitution fund.
Enactment of these provisions will motivate illegal aliens to SELF-deport, and remove colonizadors from our welfare rolls.
We need to pass these protections in order not to make out Democrats as liars who promised the protection in exchange for a ONE TIME AMNESTY. The Democrats got the amnesty already. Now its past time for the protections we were promised.

Wait. Are they admitting that Trump supporters are thoughtful, educated people? I thought all Trump supporters were inbred rednecks who dropped out of school in the third grade.

I’m trying to wrap my mind around how he wouldn’t/doesn’t know about it.
Me too. If we know about it, the President should. But since this isn’t headline news and so many other things going on, I guess there’s a possibility that it hasn’t been brought to the President’s attention. Maybe on purpose.
In the case of manufacturing, those jobs would be going to our kids, if we as a nation chose "Made in USA" over the cheaper price.
Deputies? How about making them ex-deputies!
I suspect that the “Chinese” part of this are some of Hong Kong’s best and brightest, many of whom currently earn in the six and seven figures (USD). If they happen to be here when the communists decide for a brutal takeover of Hong Kong, they are instantly refugees and available for US asylum and citizenship. Instead of displacing US workers they will be hiring them.
As far as the Indians go, India is very top heavy with STEM educated people, but on top of that, there is a good possibility that India and China are getting nearer to conflict, so if we are wise, we would guide these “workers” into military technology jobs. Thus they would be able to return to India to give their military technology a major boost.
Again, very much to the interest of the United States to counter China.

I am pretty sure these are not Donald trump’s deputies. This seems more like deep state officials trying to p*ss off his supporters.
Otherwise why make such a stupid move a month before the election.
