Abortion is very much a bi-partisan initiative. Some of the first state laws in the country allowing abortion on demand were signed into law by REPUBLICAN governors; including Nelson Rockefeller in New York and (yes) Ronald Reagan in California. And legalized abortion continues to this day because the Republican Party — despite all the lip service it gives to opposing abortion — allows it to continue. And the GOP (including their minions on the Supreme Court who always seem to “grow” after they are seated and continue to uphold Roe v. Wade) allows this depravity to perpetuate for exactly the reason RBG said in that interview: they simply want to control the population of poor blacks and other assorted unassimilated misfits.
