President Trump, as is customary at these events, introduced Republican Gov. Mike DeWine at his rally in Dayton, Ohio, on Monday—only to have the audience loudly boo the governor.
DeWine had imposed a statewide masking order in July that has been wildly unpopular with the president’s base. “We’re joined today by a real good friend of mine, somebody that’s been with me from the beginning and I’ve been with him from the beginning, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine,” the president began. “Where’s Mike?” he asked, to a spattering of applause.

I had to double-hold my nose to vote for DeWine because his opponent was so bad. But I doubt if I’ll support him again.
This whole virus thing is going to go POOF after the election. People are tired of it and it will serve no political purpose once the election is done.

My locale just canceled our Veterans Day and Christmas celebrations.
I heard CA cancelled Halloween.
Austin is now considering it.

I think Trump knew very well how Trump voters feel about those two.

We’ve been busy cancelling Halloween for two weeks. Have one possible venue still open on 10/31, everything else is an “online” celebration.
I was making the point that we will continue to be punished after the election, because of the election.
I’m with you. Shorty DeWhine has never been a friend or supporter of the president.
They will be miraculously uncanceled after the election.

Last I knew Halloween was the largest retail holiday of the year after Christmas. About 8 or 9 billion bucks spent in 2018.

I can’t stand that dude. I don’t know if it’s the way he looks or what. But I have a sixth sense about people and I get a bad feeling about him.
DeWine, member of McCain’s Gang of 14 who helped prevent conservative judges when the Republicans held the presidency and a 55-45 senate majority.
But with republicans like McCain, Spector, Warner, Cochrane, etc. it wasn’t much of a majority.

In the past week Walmart has removed their entrance fencing and opened all store entrances in my area.

That’s my belief. I’m in Michigan, and I suspect that if Michigan swings red, the wicked Whitchmer will crack down on us harder.
Hopefully the petition is successful and draws out her fangs, but if it starts looking like it, I suspect she’ll double down, and REALLY make us pay while she can.
Our Walmart still has the extended fencing, only one entrance open, one-way aisles, and mask requirement. On top of those inconveniences, they have also removed all benches where a guy can sit while his wife shops. And then to top it all off, some bozo decided this would be a great time to remodel and change the layout of the store, moving everything around. I get why they do that, but the timing was stupid.

That's what I think too. If Biden wins, which will only happen with mass fraud, then we'll see it go away but if Trump wins, the left will try to punish us in any way they can. Riots, emergency orders, arrests of anyone who defends themselves against the rioters etc
