Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., announced Wednesday he plans to hold a news conference Thursday regarding what he described as President Trump's threats to democracy in the presidential election.
This is what an authoritarian sounds like, Sanders said of Trumps Wednesday comments that he would have to see what happens with the election before committing to a peaceful transfer of power.
Sanders tweeted he would give an address on the unprecedented and dangerous moment we are in right now given President Trumps unique threats to our democracy at 1 p.m. ET Thursday.

Classic projection. They tell their comrades not to concede and Trump says the same thing but he is then called authoritarian. As one freeper says, we cannot peacefully coexist with these people. The sooner we realize that the better.
It’s a constitutional republic you old commie bastard.
Bernie himself is the threat to democracy. he wants the USA to be Venezuela 2.
What a commie tool.
The sad truth is there are several generations who are going to believe him and do not see the very threat is themselves.
Socialism, communism is not freedom people! Why do they not comprehend this?
I am scared. To say I am not would be a lie.
I am worried.
I sincerely hope a sufficient number of Right leaning people grasp that the election is a meaningless exercise. We are in for the literal battle of our lives. And we just might lose as history shows when the left gets this far along in their efforts, there is no going back. My post the other day estimated 8 million dead in the cultural revolution. Will there be a Republic on the other side of that number? History says, no.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan, president of Turkey, said, “Democracy is a bus you ride to your destination and then get off.” I think that’s every commie and liberal’s view. The election that elects them is pretty much the last one.
I will quibble with this.
Hillary was very explicit that Joe should not concede under any circumstances. They will insist that Joe won, no matter what the outcome is.
President Trump, on the other hand, is making no definite statement. He will merely wait and see what happens.
The two parties are not saying the same thing. But the Dems are declaring Trump to be authoritarian. It's the Narrative.
It’s like they are declaring victory and demanding Trump step down—BEFORE the election even happens!
What Trump should say is that he will be as accepting of this outcome as the democrats have been about 2016.
I think they may actually be following the strategy that the vote counting doesn’t matter. Hey, it’s chaotic. Hey, things got lost. Hey, we don’t really know the totals. Hey, it’s not clear who won.
I think the media will announce that Joe won. And just try to make that stick. If “everybody knows” that Joe won, then the President looks like the bad guy when he says “not so fast”.
And what happens to a country that allows the media to just “choose” the winner with little or no reliance on vote counting? Very dangerous.
And the Babylon Bee loses another headline!
ANTIFA is full of Bernie Bros. and this old commie has done nothing to stop
them (instead he encourages them).
*yawn*
The check must’ve cleared.
Shouldn’t Biden be doing this.?
