These riots are organized and financed by anti-democratic Marxist groups that are trying to provoke exactly the kind of violent police response that is being recommended here.
They are following a playbook for “Color” Revolutions that have successfully toppled democratically elected regimes in Eastern Europe and the Middle East. The objective is to get their accomplices in the media to record and amplify any disproportionate response from law enforcement that can be used to undermine the moral position of the people in power so they can be replaced by a “popular” junta.
The best approach for the government is to deploy an overwhelming show of force that can disburse the disorganized demonstrators using non-violent crowd control and arrest tactics. Violence will occur if the demonstrators see any weakness that allows them to potentially harm law officers causing them to react to defend themselves with deadly force as Kyle Rittenhouse did when he was run down.
Unthinkable? Real bullets and buckshot were routinely used to control riots back in the sixties.
