That IS a great picture. A heart-tugger, for sure.
Yes, we’re getting Beta rain now and have since this afternoon. Tomorrow is supposed to be a drencher for us and do we ever need it!

Good evening, radu...I hear you are FINALLY getting some rain. The cotton needs a good, long drink.
And your trees and flowers would most likely be appreciative, too.

Howdy, Kathy.
Yes, we’re FINALLY getting some rain. ‘Bout time! LOL! Everything’s very thirsty around here.
I’ve seen several rain showers up in your area the past couple of days. Y’all needed it too.
The trees sure are turning fast! Weird seeing them in their fall colors when ours are still green.
Sure is a pretty view from the cam at the airport.

I am sooo jealous! But very happy for you and for the cotton. Sometimes I think it’ll never rain here again. Our last drought we went 12 months without a drop. So far with this one, it’s only about 3 1/2 months, but it seems forever.

3 1/2 months is a long time without rain. It’s been 3 1/2 weeks for us and it feels like forever. LOL We only got .06 of an inch then so it almost doesn’t count.
There are STILL some cotton plants flowering so they’re happy for this rain.
We’re happy to have the air clear of dust for a little while. It’s been nasty for weeks.

Oh, yes, clear air is the best part of a rain. Well, the coming alive of all the things that look ragged, but breathing clear air is wonderful.

Right now, about the only thing that will really come back to life is the grass, much to Hubby’s dismay. LOL It’s brown right now but we’ll have plenty of green soon and he’ll have to mow again.
The trees are still green but they’re getting ready to slow down and get ready for their winter sleep.
Not choking on dust every time I walk out the door sure will be nice though!

How was your romp with Gizmo yesterday? Drier than the day before, I hope.
Are you still trimming trees around the yard or have you gotten them all taken care of?

Oops. Forgot about that huge lawn to mow. Well, it’ll keep him busy, though it’ll also make you sneeze. Just the thought of smelling grass makes my nose twitch. LOL!

Well, I have to do some lawn mowing later today. The grass is really starting to grow. We've had some drizzle the past several days.
Here are some pics from yesterday at Wichita Ridge:

Hubby hasn’t forgotten about all he has to mow. LOL Yards around two houses, along both sides of the .1 of a mile-long driveway, and large grassy areas - - about 10 acres or so. Yep, he’ll be busy for a couple of days once things dry out.
And I’ll stay inside as much as possible to avoid the pollen.

More drizzle, huh? It does look like it was a bit gloomy yesterday.
We had light rain from Beta all day and night and expect a deluge later today. Mowing is in the near future here too.
Gizmo looks like he had a large time. :-)
