Trump says he has done more in 47 months than Biden has in 47 years
President Trump said on Monday that he assumes Democratic presidential nominee Joe Bidens going to do great during the first presidential debate scheduled for next week, then went on to slam the former vice president.
I've done more in 47 months than he's done in 47 years and that's absolutely true, Trump told Fox & Friends in an exclusive interview on Monday.
Fox News Sunday anchor Chris Wallace has been selected to moderate the first presidential debate between President Trump and Biden, the non-partisan Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) announced earlier this month.
The debate is scheduled to take place Tuesday, Sept. 29 in Cleveland.
President Trump is reportedly taking a new approach to the upcoming presidential debates by preparing, which is something he didnt do in 2016.
The incumbent is studying Bidens idiosyncrasies, hoping to trip up the former vice president and avoid any missteps from four years ago, Politico reported earlier this month.
In 2016, Trump refused to conduct a mock debate, he didn't allow anyone to play former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and he would not simulate the question-and-answer dynamic between moderator and candidates.
Host Steve Doocy asked Trump on Monday, As you look to combating Joe Biden, what are you thinking?
I think he's a professional, Trump said in response. I don't know if he's all there, but I think he's a professional.
I have to assume that he's a professional and that he can debate, he continued.
I don't understand what's going on. He doesn't seem to be answering questions and he can't answer questions and much worse a little while ago when he was on the stage with the Democrats, he couldn't do well.

Set those expectations on Biden high...LOL
Go to the nearest hostel and find some old guy unable to care for himself and muttering nonsense.
That’s your plugs stand-in Mr. Trump!
That’s how you do it!
Raise the Bar!
Nobody can accuse Trump of being cocky on the first debate.
That’s a good. Set the expectations for Biden high and likewise, don’t take for granted that Biden is going to trip all over himself. Prepare under the assumption that he’s as good as anyone.
The Donald knows when to appear gracious and magnanimous.
He also knows when to slam the hammer of truth down their throats!
That's the problem, isn't it? If expectations for Sleepy, Creepy, Slow Joe are set too low, then if he manages to make it through the evening without soiling his diaper it will be declared a "win" for Biden.
Remember all of the pre-debate hype around sHrillary's health issues (including being tossed feet first into a waiting van after she passed out) that made her debate performance look outstanding?
He might do well....because he’s either been fed the questions in advance, or he has a backstage person giving him answers over a monitor in his ear.
Other than that, it’d be be Trump looking like a MENSA member debating a bowl of banana pudding.
Rope-A-Dope, Trump Style.
Fox will give Biden the debate questions in advance. Trump knows it.
“Thats how you do it!
Raise the Bar”!
Yes!
Waiting for the usual bleat from the MSM, "without evidence"!
L8r
“Damn straight, knuckle brains!”
However, the hidin Biden staff cannot prepare for the Presidents comments during the debate, i.e. "Wrong"..".."because you'd be in jail", or challenges regarding the ukraine and chinese money pipeline, aka hunter
Never underestimate your opponent.
Just on the off 0.001% chance that the senility bit is all a rope-a-dope setup.
No foreign policy in the first debate because Trump is doing great there. Likewise no immigration. The bias is engrained in the topics already.
I’ll believe there will be a debate when they have it. Until then I still don’t think it’ll happen
