Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI) told MSNBC on Monday that Senate Democrats are planning to explore every option they have to prevent Senate Republicans from confirming whoever President Trump picks to replace the now-deceased Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Ginsburg's death on Friday sent shockwaves throughout the nation as an already hotly contested presidential race now has a vacant Supreme Court seat before most ballots are cast on November 3.

This is why the Senate ought to consider skipping the confirmation hearing. The Democrats are planning to jack it up a lot worse than they did the Kavanaugh hearings. They will throw protests, fire alarms, traffic jams, ricin mailings, anything that will delay it. They should get no warning. One day, they show up and Mitch tells them that the vote is in five minutes- be there or be square.
Given what we’ve seen/heard from the left over the past few days, there’s no reason to doubt it’ll be the same, or worse, this time around.
Just take the damn vote!

This SCOTUS vote before the election will demoralize Dem voters who are already morose with their lackluster demented low energy candidate. The economy is rebounding, Covid fading, and the Biden riots have made Law and Order a huge suburban winning issue for Trump.
Dem turnout could be low. They are losing, losing, losing.
