I think the COVID has provided the environment for people to give up a lot of old habits, watching sports being one of them.
I think also it’s made people realize who is really essential in society. Actors and Athletes don’t make that list.
My dream (& I know it’ll never come to pass)... XFLcombines with CFL...we have a USFC and a CFC... and then an “International Superbowl” ... it takes place in fall ... I know it’ll never happen.

There is no other way of looking at this. No other reason for the stadiums to not empty out on seeing players in NFL uniforms disrespecting the flag.

For the past few years, the media has fed us a constant diet of black-this and black-that — WAY over the actual percentage of blacks in the population, and even more so than they did in the Obama era. Weirdly, what they have been doing is essentially turning black people into a fad. Look! It’s been just like those couple of years where EVERYTHING suddenly became disco.
It’s overexposure that kills fads. Just ask the Bee Gees. And there’s no question at all that that’s what’s going on here. I’m sure the smarter, savvier members of the black population realize this as well. People are just fed up with the media’s now almost-constant coddling and patronizing of blacks.
I think it was Ethel Merman’s disco album that destroyed that particular craze. Turning American sports — where people go to escape, not to be lectured by put-upon millionaires — into some sort of platform for “critical race theory” is going a long way toward killing the “all black, all the time” fad.
Just wait until the porch monkeys come forward with another proposal for a taxpayer funded stadium so these pampered millionaires can play their game.
I suspect, not so many many whites are going to be onboard - you know, the people who pay all the taxes?
