The Louisville Metro Police Department has canceled all off days and vacation requests until further notice as the agency prepares for Attorney General Daniel Cameron's announcement in the Breonna Taylor case.
Sgt. Lamont Washington announced the decision in a Monday afternoon news release.
"The public may also see barriers being staged around downtown, which is another part of our preparations," Washington said in the statement.

I don’t believe she was sleeping.
I don’t believe cops in plain clothes opting not to wear body cams should be trusted. Especially when the neighbors don’t back their story. Asleep. Awake. Doesn’t really matter: not a threat. Murdered.
Agreed...
I’m sure it is... /s
Over the weekend information became available that, if true, casts doubt on the entire narrative that’s been reported about the raid.
The procedures being put into place by the authorities gives the information more credence, IMO.
I even provided a link from our local paper where the BF stated they were both awake, but that wasn’t good enough. There’s only so much I can do if one is not willing to research a claim.
I am in the hospital in downtown Louisville, and am worried about what is going to happen. I was hoping I could get home before anything happens.
Does it really mattered if she was asleep. THEY MURDERED HER.
Just the fact that they’re on like their 4th narrative. Funny, cops always say the first sign of being suspicious is changing your story. And here they are changing their story constantly. Oh we wanted this boyfriend (who turned out to be in custody already). There were suspicious packages we worked with the post office on this investigation (postal investigators say there were no suspicious packages and they weren’t working with LMPD). They’re freaking Max Smart “would you believe...”
We’re not expecting a decision until tomorrow (that’s the rumor we’re hearing) my husband works downtown and I breathed a huge sigh of relief this evening when he texted me and let me know he was home. Stay safe, FRiend.

Oh yes the unsubstantiated “leaked” 4th story the cops are using the try to justify murder. You’ve needed it for a while. You’ve got murder cops in your city. Nobody is safe.
