Gov. Andrew Cuomo is finally ready to call out the National Guard to staff polling places on Election Day!
After placing the Guard on standby but not sending them in as riots raged in New York City this past summer, Cuomo said Monday that he might pull the trigger and actually deploy troops to ensure voters can cast in-person ballots in the Nov. 3 presidential election.
During a teleconference with reporters, Cuomo said that the Board of Elections is basically a person-powered, staffing function and that the June 23 primary elections showed a lot of issues with the local boards.

If Cuomo is calling out the National Guard to the polling stations, that means that Biden is losing New York.
Or setting up some nonsense “voter suppression” claim, because voters were “too intimidated to enter polling places staffed by the National Guard.”
Bingo. Part of the narrative.
Trump needs to nationalize the NY Guard
Imagine If POTUS Trump suggested the National Guard be called out on Election Day?
I wonder if Cuomo’s Brother Fredo will comment on this tonight? How about his best Buddy Don LeMon?
I trust the National Guard more than I trust the poll workers
You wouldn’t say that if you’re a small biz owner who’s had the misfortune to meet some of public employees acting as Cuomo’s goon squads.
Calling out the National Guard should keep out illegals from voting (hopefully). It certainly won’t discouraging law abiding pubbies.
Why call out the Guard? To arrest anyone who votes Republican?
...but not for all the riots? Interesting.
I love this! Now illegal aliens will be scared to vote in person and using Social security records postal records and census records to kick their fake ballots.
It sounds like a great idea to me, but since it is Cuomo’s idea, I must be missing something big! Gotta hurt GOP somehow.
So none of the National Guardsmen/women will be able to vote?
Sounds like voter suppression of the conservative voters to me.
I said National Guard, not public employees
So he will call in the National guard for polling places on election day but not for so called peaceful protesters that are rioting and looting ?
