The MSM and Progressives, in general, used to be able to get away with this. This is how they shaped the narrative, determined what was a scandal and what was not, and picked what candidates were "suitable" for election and the Supreme Court.

I guess Booker is too stupid (or corrupt) to know that they are in the position they are now because of their former leader — Harry Reid. If Reid hadn’t changed the rules regarding nominations/hearings the Dems could stop anything the Republicans tried to do. So, Reid’s (and the Democrat’s) last temper tantrum is what is screwing them now — AND the Senate is not destroyed.
Democrats burn everything down that they don’t control ... the GOP is the problem?
If the leftists continue to get their way on everything, soon - a Republican President will have a total TWO week period during their administration in which it will be acceptable for them to
1. have a vacancy and
2. fill a vacancy - depending on the “wishes” of the Justice who “OWNS” the seat....

Before current Justice Breyer was on the SC he was a federal circuit court judge. Jimmy Carter nominated him to the federal circuit court of appeals AFTER he had lost the election. The lame duck Dem senate (which had also lost their majority in the election) confirmed him in December. There’s plenty of precedent to replace Ginsburg now.
They must think McConnell has the votes.
