Trump's Supreme Court frontrunners: A mother of seven who adopted two children from Haiti and belongs to a Christian sect that inspired The Handmaid's Tale - and a Cuban American whose father was stopped from becoming a lawyer by Castro

President Donald Trump's announced Saturday night that the Supreme Court nominee he plans to announce next week to fill the vacancy left by Ruth Bader Ginsburg will be a woman, spotlighting two conservative women as his potential pick.

During a campaign rally in North Carolina, Trump declared 'I will be putting forth a nominee this week, it will be a woman', later adding his pick would be a 'very talented, very brilliant woman' because 'I like women more than I like men'.

As he left the White House for the rally, the president identified two women as front runners: Amy Coney Barrett, 48, of the Chicago-based 7th Circuit and Barbara Lagoa, 52, of the Atlanta-based 11th Circuit as possible nominees.

Are you implying that Catholic principles are not Christian?

Are they?

Is a sinner given the free gift of pardon by the Eternal Judge, born anew in the Spirit, and given eternal never-ending life by God's grace alone, at the very instant he/she turns to God from sin by committing his/her unconditional belief alone (apart from any personal deeds of any kind) in God's Only Begotten Son Alone, and then credited ny The Father with Jesus' Righteousness forever without interruption, never to come under God's judgement again, but to be His child forever?

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life" (Jn. 5:24 AV).

"Amen, amen, I say unto you that he who heareth my word and believeth him that sent me hath life everlasting: and cometh not into judgment, but is passed from death to life" (Jn. 5:24 DRB).
This is the condition of salvation pronounced by the Jesus of the original Bible, translated from Greek into English. If your answer to my question above is completely and unreservedly affirnative, then we stand on Holy Ground. If not, then your Jesus is not identical to the Jesus of the Bible, and your gospel is not that of the Apostle Paul, as delivered in his letters to the churches of his time. Paul's gospel and that of Jesus of Nazareth are one, the one in which I irreversibly place my trust.
"I wonder that you are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ, unto another gospel.
Which is not another: only there are some that trouble you and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach a gospel to you besides that which we have preached to you, let him be anathema" (Gal. 1:6-8 DRB).

"But I fear lest, as the serpent seduced Eve by his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted and fall from the simplicity that is in Christ.
For if he that cometh preacheth another Christ, whom we have not preached; or if you receive another Spirit, whom you have not received; or another gospel, which you have not received: you might well bear with him" (2 Cor. 11:3-4 DRB).
(Note that neither Jesus, Who is The God Incarnated, The Anointed One and Savior, nor His Apostle Paul, include anything about the approval of any local assembly of rescued sinners, no matter what name it goes by. No church of fallible humans has any say in the granting of a person's redemption. That decision is solely between the person and the God of the Bible.)

In conclusion:

"For by grace you are saved through faith: and that(the saving) not of yourselves, for it(the saving) is the gift of God.
Not of works, that no man may glory(boast).
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus in good works, which God hath prepared that we should walk in them" (Eph. 2:8-10 DRB; my interpretation notes explanation superscripted).
Answer your own question, my FRiend.

I have. Try Jacques Mauritain ‘s Who Is My Neighbor? for a broader perspective. Enjoy.

A neighbor is not necessarily a brother in Christ at all. To love many neighbors is to help them find out that they are under condemnation; and if this is not remedied, they most certainly will become residents of the eternal Lake of Fire.

Let me know when you have a mind to plainly disclose your answer to my query. There are only two possibilities, and each is one word.

In the sermon on the mount, Jesus addressed the term neighbor as Jews to Jews. It does also fit for the Body of Christ believers. Fit for everyone? Not so much.

. . . a broader perspective.

"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it" (Mt. 7:14 AV; bolded for emphasis)).

============

Not broader. Narrow.

For the purpose of this discussion at this moment, yes. How about answering my initial query? The answer is either “yes” or “no.”

Why? You didn’t answer mine with a simple yes or no. You filibustered.

I didn’t need to. It’s a question you need to ask yourself. But I did, through the Socratic method, and you know exactly what my answer is. Again, what is yours?

Yes, I know what your answer is. Thank you. I gave you mine, as well.
