Trump spoke privately with McConnell on Friday night following the news of Ginsburgs death, laying out his preferences for who should replace the liberal justice, according to several people familiar with the conversation.
In the phone call, Trump said he liked Judge Amy Coney Barrett of the Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit and Barbara Lagoa of the 11th Circuit, according to two people briefed on the discussion. The officials spoke on the condition of anonymity to disclose details of a private conversation.

The choice of a Supreme Court justice impacts the nation for potentially a generation and should not be chosen based on the criteria of one election. Doing so is short term thinking.
and if an appropriate ethnic box can be checked and it’s not a woman similar 90% of Dem tricks go out the window.
Can you see them grilling a black or asian or other such approriate ethnic group that Dems revere?
