Thanks, nikos!

It’s funny - the president goes to so many places that it actually would be understandable if HE forgot where he was lol, but it’s the other guy!

Glen Stubbe, a photojournalist for The Star Tribune, said it “seems no local Minnesota news photographers will be allowed to cover Joe Biden event in Duluth today.”

I searched for some photos of Biden’s event in Hermantown (near Duluth). It had a photo of him standing alone on an “x” marked in tape. The article was about the lack of press.

Only three press people were allowed into the “small, intimate setting.”

Trump’s visit to Bemidiji is on Youtube. I have no idea on the crowd size. Thousands? (On short notice too.)

https://heavy.com/news/2020/09/trump-minnesota-rally-crowd-photos-bemidji/

Trump said something like “Wow - what a crowd! But - this is a peaceful protest, so it’s okay. They told me political events are limited to 50 folks - so that would be illegal. But this is a peaceful protest. So that’s okay. And we are protesting. We’re protesting the liberal policies of the Democrats.....”

After listening to Trump last night I am convinced of one thing and that is I was watching greatness last night. We all know it when we see it and last night it was greatness. Most of it was done off the cuff and he went into detail about things that no other president would talk about. We are witnessing the all-time great as a president. I don’t want to jinx him so everything that I said in the above sentences forget about it.

I saw Vandalia and was momentarily shocked, until I saw Ohio.

We have a Vandalia here in Illinois too.

Vandalia Illinois is the termination of th National Road, the first federal highway. The road began in Cumberland Maryland and ended in Vandalia, Illinois.

It sparked controversy because there is no provision in the constitution for federal highways.

I wasn't political when I was in the Army (long ago) but IIRC active duty members of the Armed Forces aren't allowed to attend political rallies in uniform. Does anyone know if they're allowed to attend in civilian clothes?

The Department of Defense (DOD) encourages all military and civilian personnel and their eligible family members to register and vote. Certain provisions on campaign participation, however, apply to federal employees and members of the armed forces.

As a matter of long-standing policy, military service members and federal employees acting in their official capacity may not engage in activities that associate the DOD with any partisan political campaign or elections, candidate, cause or issue. The limitations of participation can be found in DOD Directive 1344.10, Political Activities by Members of the Armed Forces, and the Hatch Act.

Under DOD Directive 1344.10, members of the armed forces who are on active duty are permitted to express their personal opinions on political candidates, make a monetary contribution to a campaign, sign a petition to place a candidate's name on the ballot, and attend a political event as a spectator. Members on active duty may not participate in partisan activities such as soliciting or engaging in partisan fundraiser activities, serving as the sponsor of a partisan club, or speaking before a partisan gathering. In addition, all military members, including National Guard and Reserve forces, are prohibited from wearing military uniforms at political campaign events.

The Hatch Act allows most federal employees to actively participate in political activities on their own time and outside of the federal workplace. There are, however, significant restrictions on fundraising, running for office in partisan election and using one's official authority in the political arena. Senate-confirmed presidential appointees and non-career SES employees are subject to additional limitations. Additional restrictions are also applicable to career members of the Senior Executive Service.

That was some wild rally last night. Trump mostly impromptu, and the crowd going crazy.

I have not seen any yet...but if this rally/protest is like the rest they will be popping up real soon!!! We really need out Trump folks to turn the volume and size of rally crowds to about 50,000 or more folks. I hope the American people and voter s realize his absolutely important it is for Trump to nominate and get confirmed a new Supreme Court Justice.

You all know the reasons, why, guns, abortion, Freedom of Religion, Freedom of Speech, Freedom to assemble peacefully...and on and on!!!

IMHO...the present day Democrat Party is out to destroy this magnificent USA, Nation Republic. I want Trump to name a woman as his candidate to replace Justice, Ginsburg today or this evening at his rally. ans screw the Democrat Party scum & vermin America haters..period!!!

“nikos 1121” In my book you is just simply “100% ACES”, Thank You, fellow patriot!!!
