Republicans control the US Senate and the White House and could nominate and confirm a justice by election day on November 3rd.
Already tonight Minority Leader Senator Chuck Schumer announced that the vacancy “should not be filled until we have a new president.”
And already Senator Lisa Murkowski announced she would not vote for a SCOTUS nominee until after Election Day.

So what. She voted PRESENT for Kavanaugh. She’s not a Trump supporter, especially not on SCOTUS nominations.
In other words, we knew her position before she announced it.
Gutless RINO’s are already bailing. We will have a 4 / 4 SCOTUS until next year. That is all.
It’s doubtful that it’ll come up for a vote before the election. Probably in December.

Remember how Murkowski got elected. She lost in the Republican primary to a true conservative, but then used money and Rinoos to continue running anyway. This, after Ted Stevens was convicted on bogus charges by a politicized and corrupt DOJ.
