If she is saying Election Day and not the inauguration, that's tantamount to saying she will vote for Trump's nominee in mid-November even if Joe Biden wins. It's total spin to not make herself look hypocritical on the GOP's Garland stance while potentially voting for the next Supreme Court pick anyway.
Does it really matter, the Court as it stands is more conservative now anyway.

With a 4-4 court the circuit courts basically become Supreme Courts. A 4-4 SC means their rulings stand. The rats still have ruling majority on the 9th for example.
