Education Department opens investigation into Princeton University after president deems racism 'embedded' in the school
Washington Examiner ^ | 9/17/2020 | Tiana Lowe

The Department of Education has informed Princeton University that it is under investigation following the school president's declaration that racism was "embedded" in the institution.

President Christopher Eisgruber published an open letter earlier this month claiming that "racism and the damage it does to people of color persist at Princeton" and that "racist assumptions" are "embedded in structures of the University itself."

According to a letter the Department of Education sent to Princeton that was obtained by the Washington Examiner, such an admission from Eisgruber raises concerns that Princeton has been receiving tens of millions of dollars of federal funds in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which declares that "no person in the United States shall, on the ground of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance."

Can you imagine a department more deeply unsuited to investigate anything?

“Look at me virtue signal! I am a bad man! At a bad institution! But, by saying I’m bad, that makes me super awesome, right?”

“No, it makes you under investigation because if you are as bad as you say you are, it is illegal for the government to give your institution money.”

This is great!! Hey Princeton, you want to virtue signal about how “racist” you are? Well that would be a violation of Federal law, so we’re going to take back some of that money you get. Lets see how fast the President of Princeton walks back his statement.

I’ll tell you what is racist. Princeton rejected the valedictorian of my HS class (white male) and accepted a black girl ranked either 8th or 9th. The pair lived in the same neighborhood too. She was not a star athlete nor was she heavily involved in activities. She ultimately decided to attend another school on a full scholarship.

Good on the DOE for calling their bluff. Bet their president tries to wiggle out of his statements on this one!

racism was “embedded” in the institution.

Princeton has “Prince” embedded in it.

I thought Africa had a lot of Princes?

They should be OK

Oh no, they must still have admitted some on merit.

Who was that complaining anti-gun sloshburger who was just given a free ride there, is that racism?

Princeton President Christopher Eisgruber published an open letter earlier this month claiming that “racism and the damage it does to people of color persist at Princeton” and that “racist assumptions” are “embedded in structures of the University itself.”

Looks like Princeton falsified federal documents in order receive tens of millions of tax dollars in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964:”no person in the United States shall, on the ground of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.”

They actively discriminate against Asians so this is just and admission of guilt rather than their usual rationalizations.

Well he supported “The Black Justice League” on campus from 2014 until 2016, which was a small local terrorist organization that made life miserable for the many (including the many black students) who did not agree with its members’ demands.”

Perhaps the president is outing himself? Confessing his sins/evils?

I am sure that Princeton is heavily racist against whites and Asians, as well as against blacks and Hispanics who are robbed of a good education by liberal professors who dumb down the curriculum.

I am certain, without a doubt, that racism is embedded at Princeton. There are thousands of applicants each year that are denied matriculation because they are white and Asian when they have superior GPA’s, SAT’s, ACT’s, GRE’s, etc. than other people of color. This is racism.
