Joe Biden was mocked by viewers last night after pulling out his phone and playing the hit song 'Despacito' at a Hispanic campaign event in Florida.
A grinning Biden played the song into a microphone after being introduced by its Puerto Rican-American singer Luis Fonsi at the event in Tampa, as the Democratic nominee seeks Hispanic backing in one of the chief battleground states.
But critics accused Biden of 'pandering' and mocked him for playing a song whose title translates as 'Slowly' - evoking Donald Trump's nicknam

I’m surprised the soundtrack wasn’t altered to reflect a loud, cheering and clapping crowd as opposed to the anemic response from the 8 or 10 people that actually clapped.
The folks probably weren’t too pleased that Ol’ Joe came strolling in a couple hours late.
This “performance” by Biden was the subject of two FR threads last night. The first gave a link to a Gateway Pundit article, which in turn offered a link to Twitter. Most of the tweets about Biden’s use of the song were negative, and some were downright BRUTAL.
Many tweets saw it comparable to HRC’s “hot sauce” comment.

A Twitter user joked: ‘Thank goodness he decided against the sombrero.’
And that he didn’t unwrap a burrito and start munching.
I doubt Joe had the tech savvy to put this song on his phone and that he could quickly find it says it was already cued up. One of his aides set this up to pander to the Hispanic audience and had no idea of the ironic lyrics. I’m surprised audience members weren’t provided carry out from Taco Johns.
This wasn’t going to get much traction until.....
Trump’s trolling got the mainstream media to bite, scream gotcha. But hey, what really happened....

In some circles troll is not a dirty word. :-)
He has no idea how to connect with people from different backgrounds. He thinks sharing caricatures is cool.
