This question appears to have been pre-planned with the goal of giving George an oblique angle of attack (woman hits Trump with hard question and George snipes from the side). The President, being familiar with pro-wrestling as he is, recognized a double team attack when he saw it forming.

I thought the President did a great job as always.

The woman with the question was officious, like a school marm, George's sniping was pointed and clever (too clever by half—planned in advance), and the President handled himself deftly.
