I also think he will have a medical incident which requires him to be replaced before the election. But what happens to the mail-in votes? Citizens who jump the gun and vote for a dead guy don't get a do-over. They chose poorly. This should cut severely into Democrat totals.

i don’t know. I will say I have driven through a large decent middle class all black neighborhood recently in Philadelphia and didn’t see one Biden sign. They are in trouble with the black vote. That doesn’t mean someone won’t vote for them though. On the other hand Montgomery county is a disgrace. Biden signs all over. But I think people just don’t want bricks thrown threw their windows which is what is happe ing in Bucks county for people with Trump signs.

This is becoming more of an issue each day, given that a number of states start early voting this coming week...and, absentee ballots are going out across the country and world...
Of course, absentee ballots can be re-sent, and the names can be changed on machines prior to Election Day...The DIMS could always resort to writing in a new ticket...but, that takes intelligence and awareness of their voters...
The switching out should be the easier part...has to be done before 9/29, the first Debate...
Behind the scenes the DNC works out a candidate agreeable to all Demonrat factions...best guess would be Big Mike Obama. Cameltoe could stay on as VP...or they bring in someone else like Fauxcohantas to satisfy the Bernie Bros...
Then, Sleepy Joe goes on national TV on one of his “good days” for an evening address to explain his mental infirmity and that he realizes it is better for the country if he steps down...MEDIA conglomerate praises him for his heroic decision and canonizes Joe for Sainthood...
The new candidates and MEDIA play up Joe’s Sainthood and Patriotism for 5-6 weeks until the election...Hosanna, Hey sanna, Big Mikey and the Ho!

I have considered that option. Honestly, I cannot see why she would want the job. True, she may undergo enormous pressure to step in at the last minute. But the Obamas have it made in the shade now, they are worth perhaps two hundred million dollars and are objects of admiration, and they do not really have to do anything to maintain that status. I do not think that Michelle is as power hungry as Hillary. Nor do I think that she is the partisan that Obama was, and the rest of the democratic party is. I think she is perfectly content to be an influencer, without any of the burdens of actually holding office. Michelle is interested in a Michelle.
Should such medical incident occur, any early votes for Biden will be automatically counted for his replacement. C’mon man, this is the Left we’re talking about. No rules ever apply to them.

There is precedent to count the vote for the “party”. The party names the electors, then they get to vote for whom they choose. Like Hillary, or Bernie.... The large print giveth and the small print taketh away.
And today, the Eleventh Circuit Court reversed an injunction entered by a district judge that allowed Florida felons to vote who hadn’t paid the fines that was part of their sentences. This removes yet another 50,000 or so likely Biden Florida voters.

I can tell you there are a lot of Republican candidate yard signs in my deep blue VA district. I have been here 30 years and have never seen that before.
