A former New Jersey man claims he was sexually assaulted by celebrity Judge Andrew Napolitano in exchange for a lenient sentence in an arson case in the 1980s, according to a bombshell lawsuit filed Friday.
The alleged victim, Charles Corbishley, also alleges the judge tried to block him from filing the suit in Manhattan federal court by lodging false police reports against him, the suit states.
In a statement, Fox News, where Napolitano works as senior judicial analyst, said the judge will fight the allegations in court.
Judge Napolitano has assured us in the strongest possible terms that these allegations are false and he will fight them aggressively in court, the network said.
Corbishley, who now lives in South Carolina, claimed in the suit that the abuse happened after he was indicted for arson in 1987 and retained a corrupt lawyer named Robert Hollis.
Hollis, who was later indicted for running a multi-million dollar prostitution scheme, got Corbishleys case transferred to Napolitanos courtroom, who he called a friend, according to the suit.
After the case was transferred, the lawyer allegedly set up a meeting between Corbishley, who was 20 at the time, and Napolitano at a house in Hackensack in 1988, the suit states.

Oh my, can’t add one word to that. Summed up exactly as needed...and not needed...
I guess we’ll be spared his commentary on Fox news.
Judge Napolitano lost me when he openly supported the lawsuit against the Christian owner of Masterpiece Cakes for refusing to service a gay wedding. After that, I did notice that many of his logic was twisted.
Napolitano has gotten on my last nerve with his NeverTrumpism.
But 1987? There was no point over the last 33 years when he could have done this?
Sounds like he may have been compromised, had something to hide...
Ha! Ha! We knew!!
He turned into one of those the seriousness of the charge people, so I hope hes hoisted on his own petrard
We always suspected he was a Nappy Ho.
32 years statute of limitations? Riiight!
exactly. cue the meet the press music
I dont feel strongly in one way or the other about Napolitano, but 30+ year old sexual misconduct allegations are pretty flimsy, especially when coming from convicted criminals
In our PC and politically charged society, any accuser knows they are going to be given a megaphone for their allegations too
So this guy had this happen to him and decided to let Napolitano continue on the bench for another decade so he could do it to others? I mean it’s not like he was a nine-year old altar boy who was too traumatized to say anything.
Gawd Amitey!
Everything about this story is distasteful....I despise Judge Nap but I hope this is not true.
It’s not the year, it’s the seriousness of the charge. Get with the Nappy program BMCF.
