Teachers in at least five states have died from COVID-19 since the fall semester started, The Washington Post reported Thursday.
At least six teachers across Iowa, Missouri, Mississippi, Oklahoma and South Carolina have died since early August as students return for the school year. It is unknown whether these teachers became infected at school, but several attempted to quarantine to avoid infecting other students and educators.
Special education teacher AshLee DeMarinis died on Sunday after showing symptoms four days after the start of school for John Evans Middle School in Potosi, Mo. The 34-year-old, who suffered from asthma, spent three weeks on a ventilator in the hospital, the Post reported.
In Columbia, S.C., third grade teacher Demetria “Demi” Bannister from Windsor Elementary School died this week after experiencing complications from COVID-19, according to newspaper The State. High school history teacher Tom Slade, 53, who worked at Vancleave High School in Mississippi, died on Sunday of the coronavirus, the Biloxi Sun Herald reported.

Are we certain that they did not die as a result of bullying and/or diddling their students or get caught up in their Antifa activities?
Were they teaching? Or were they in the hospital when classes resumed.

How many teachers died from Asian flu, Hong Kong flu, SARS, or swine flu during the same period for those years?

And, no proof they were infected by any students.
Besides the 1st one mentioned who had asthma, I wonder how many of the other five had comorbidity factors.
A friend of mine is choosing to home school his two kids because they both have chronic asthma and he fears not the other students but teachers who decide to not call in sick when they should.
They probably caught it at a protest.

AshLee looks well over 200 pounds and 10 years older than 34 in her pic. I’m going to guess she had significant ongoing health issues.
After seeing mugshots of Antifa rioters and learning that so many of the ranks of Antifa are filled with teachers, I have to wonder a few things:
Did these teachers catch something at a riot?
How many teachers, even ones a bit older than you would expect, are involved with Antifa and out rioting?
How many members of Antifa, including the ones who are teachers, drug addicts?
Ergo...
A teacher who is 29, is an active member of Antifa, and is on drugs can withstand the stress of all that better than one who is 49. Those extra 20 years of living with the kind of mental illness that drives one to join Antifa (and similar movements) can probably be a real killer.
