The Myth of Harmonious Indigenous Conservationism
Quillette ^ | 09-06-2020 | Baz Edmeades

It seems like a long time ago. But only six months ago, pundits had convinced themselves that the great morality tale of our time was playing out in an obscure part of British Columbia. Following on an internal political fight within the Wet’suwet’en First Nation over a local pipeline project, one columnist wrote that “the Indigenous people of Earth have become the conscience of humanity. In this dire season, it is time to listen to them.”

There was peace on the plains . . . enforced by the U.S. Cavalry. “Pax Romana” on the plains.

Right on the money. So called ‘indigenous people’ were never kumbaya peace loving hippies that the Marxist/Left have tried to make them into. A myth and a lie that history doesn’t bear out. While not all tribes were violent many of therm were.

Interesting. As soon as the story got out that indigenous people were the reason for the mass die off of the megafauna, it was quickly stifled.

All of a sudden it was due to climate change or something that all the megafauna died off.

This essay explains a lot.

This is yet another case of liberals, who claim to be the ones that 'follow the science', are actually the ones running away from it in the opposite direction.

Of course the aboriginal peoples tried to live in harmony with nature. Nature can be pretty fierce to stone age peoples, so they tried not to piss off Mother Nature.

The primitive Indians of Norte Americano were much like the Antifa protesters. Ever hear of a place called Buffalo Jump? The plains Indians would drive the buffalo off of the cliff en masse, then go down and harvest what they wanted. They moved their villages of course to follow the food, but more often because the stink and dead ground from defecating and urinating was overpowering.

Erase that about Antifa, they don’t care if they live in the squalid leftovers of their defecation.
