Yeah, Fredo is a drama queen. Not surprised he’d do something like this.
Followed!!
Hah... Are we sure that it is not a 100 OUNCE weight? ... (6.25 Lbs)
i’ve lifted for years. Back in the day i had a clean and jerk best of 275 lbs. that was my initial reaction when i saw that video with Fredo holding that dumbell over his head.
I see 2 dumbells in the photo.
Right. Most notably, Vince Gironda, Larry Scott and Franco Colombu often posed curling and French pressing fake, wooden dumbbells made up to resemble very heavy weights.
“Cuomos biceps are not bulging as he lifts the weight. Im suspicious.”
Exactly.
Wont be outworked t shirt.
Offensive to those cultures who dont think hard work is positive.
Agreed. I’ve actually worked with weights in those ranges, and heavier, and Cuomo is faking it. 100%.
I’m not a pro... But I’ve worked out with IFBB carded lifters in almost 35 years of working out in various gyms.
A real weight that size would be in the 80lbs range. Heavy core encased in rubber.
An asymmetrical movement like that is not impossible, just impossible for someone his size and with those shoulders.
I’m 51... I still do barbell presses with 225... Strict Dumbbell presses with 70’s...
Cuomo is using fake weights.
Bet this guy is not using fake weights.
Seems my boy is a touch sensitive.
More than just a touch sensitive. He parades on FR with a huge chip on his shoulder. And when someone calls him on it, he goes all scorched earth.
Clearly. I used to be an amateur bodybuilder and would begin my arm workout with barbell curls with 100 pounds, 10 reps.
Even at my peak, in my prime, I'd be gritting my teeth, flexing all my upper body muscles to accommodate the load, etc, even on that first curl.
Cu-Homo is totally relaxed holding that weight with one arm. He's exerting himself about as much as I do holding a cup of coffee.
It's got to be a plastic prop.
Correct-—plus he would flip over in the chair-—gravity alone would not allow it to be real without proper support.
