After issuing its prestigious peace prize to a series of assorted clowns and faceless bureaucrats, has the Nobel peace committee decided to try to make its peace prize worth something again? Something connected to actual peacemaking?
Sure looks like it, given that one of them, a member of Norway's parliament has nominated President Trump for the prestigious prize.
According to the New York Post:
President Trump has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize for helping broker a peace deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, according to a report.
Christian Tybring-Gjedde, a member of the Norwegian Parliament and chairman to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, submitted the nomination, Fox News reported.
“For his merit, I think he has done more trying to create peace between nations than most other Peace Prize nominees,” Tybring-Gjedde, told Fox News.
The Norwegian noted that Trump played a key role in this development, the biggest platform for peace since Israel's entente with Egypt several decades ago, and what's more, other Arab states would likely follow suit. And in fact, quite a few are. And the troublemakers among them, such as the Palestinian 'state' are walking back their opposition to the accord, with peace breaking out all over.
On merit alone, by any objective standard, Trump's act is a massive contribution to peace.

By comparison, Obama bombed the snot out of Libya, tried to overthrow Egypt, and escalated a civil war in Syria. His Peace Prize was for being a socialist.

However, I think the fact that he is nominated for legitimate accomplishments is awesome. The US media will twist themselves into pretzels again to downplay it.
Kushner is not a “big promise” guy, but he has pretty much said there will be additional Gulf States that will make peace with Israel. Trump has been the worst President possible for Iran and China and give him 4 more years and there will be firm regional alliances against both of them.
That’s like saying the DNC is on the hot seat when they have to choose between telling the truth and lying to make Trump look bad. It’s not even a dilemma.

Sorry but it is apparent that these dopey Scandinavian leftists are becoming anxious and scared. They are realizing a bit too late that their bixarre policies have corroded and ruined their culture as they become strangers in what was once their own lands. They may not overtly say it but they wish they had their own Trump. There is no Scandinavian. He may visit to pick up the award but he will leave.
Is that a rhetorical question? Of course they will be political.
Obama got his as a participation prize.. and for replacing Dubya.

Trump also managed to turn down the heat on the Korean penninsula after 0bama told him that NK was our primary threat overseas.

Bingo. Trump is doing what Obama never did. He stands up for freedom for us and for others, and does more than NATO or the UN ever dreamed of.
