This policy creates a labor market. So businesses are forced to recruit, hire, train and retain workers. Can’t just turn and burn under the cursed Jack Welch model.
Oh...so the companies didn’t shut down and start shedding jobs like we’ve been assured would happen. When forced to adapt they adapt. Shocking!

We need to get every able American employed before we import people. And even then, we need to be very careful who comes in. (People who want to be part of our society and culture, such as Hong Kongers or South African farmers, would be the kind of people I have in mind.)
