That photo is a metaphor of rural and suburban America watching the cities burn.
I don’t go camping when there’s a fire hazard. What’s the point if you can’t make a campfire?

Extreme #fire behavior with the #CreekFire continuing this evening. From the KHNX radar, there was an anticyclonic velocity couplet w/ 116 mph gate to gate shear at 0314 UTC. Such a signature is often associated with a #tornado scale vortex.

“The Devil is merely giving the bloody Californians a preview
of what the fires of hell are like. Sorry folks, you asked for it, you get it”!
You’re a -ick head. You might end up in Hell, too.
The Granite Mountain Hotshots was the fire crew who perished in CO.
There was a movie made about it.

Fresno Fire is on scene of a multi-casualty incident receiving patients injured by the Creek Fire, information is incomplete at this time regarding how many patients and severity of injuries. Several aircraft are transporting victims to FYI airport, National Guard assisting.
About 5-6 months ago I caught onto Lookner’s agenda when he was slamming Trump over COVID.
I remember the event well. It was tragic. so many brave young people lost
There’s a huge pyrocumulus cloud of smoke. It’s over 100 degrees here, and no relief in sight at all. No Air tankers can fly due to the smoke. They sent in an Air National Guard helicopter tonight to rescue injured people from Mammoth Reservoir.
I live about 85 miles away in the same mountains and it’s pretty scary.

Currently 10 FFD units and one Clovis Engine are on scene at the airport, initial reports stated possibly 63 patients inbound, 20 potentially critical, Blackhawk helicopters are transporting 20 patients at a time to be transferred to EMS care and taken to local hospitals.

fire is mostly moving north but this is creating a large west flank
Tuesday morning winds turn NE and pick up///
that west flank may be pushed SW with a huge fire front moving towards the valley??

#CreekFire (Sierra NF, Fresno/Madera Co) - Two copters back over the Mammoth Pools area & reporting people on the ground still requiring rescue, no numbers yet.
Diana,
Peshtigo burned 680 times the area of the Chicago Fire, killed 6.67 times as many people, and did it all in one day, instead of three.
Still, Mrs. OLearys cow gets all the press.
As important as the building code improvements that came in the aftermath of the Chicago Fire, the lessons learned from Peshtigo had greater, long-term impact.
More photos from the Mammoth Pool campground:
And- Santa Ana winds predicted Monday.
Looks like it has a chance toward the valley but it’s likely creating some of its own weather- who knows?

#CreekFire (Sierra NF, Fresno/Madera Co) - 2nd guard ship is departing w/ another 75-80 people & is reporting they still have more civilians on the ground - stating the Blackhawk will return for those.
I live in Madera County, where the Mammoth Pool rescue is taking place. A red county in a region of California that has been screwed over by the states elite for decades. To say that we asked for this is beyond despicable. I would never wish this on anyone here in the USA, regardless of politics.
Idiocy rules when you summarily condemn all residents of California, including the founder of this forum JimRob.
How quaint that you don't share your location. Turnabout is fair play.
