So good to see so many old timers still around and posting here.....still sharp, still lively, still producing creative writing mixed in with sarcasm, scoldings, wisecracks and feistiness, LOL.....and still true to the FR pillars of religion, freedom, liberty, the Constitution and the Rule of Law.
Long Live Free Republic !

Thanks a bunch for the Ping MinuteGal,,,,very interesting to read evolutoion history of FR.
Class of 98 reporting in for duty. Can’t believe my political addiction to FR has lasted for 22 years. Wowser. If I gathered all of the Comments I have made on this website over the years, it would fill a whole book. I get a bit long winded upon occasion, lol. So many brilliant and witty Freepers, and so many politically astute observations are made here every day.
I have to get on FR daily to get my fix. Thank you LS for this blast from the past, and thank you Jim Robinson for creating this invaluable conservative site so long ago; still going strong lo these many years.
Likewise!!! 😇
I am proud to have been a tiny part of this enterprise for over 20 years.
ONWARD!!!
Yes...What fun to remember the glory days of Free Republic!
I recall being on the thread the night Buckhead caught Dan Rather’s fake documents! Mimute Gal: Thanks for letting me know about this post!
I remember protesting outside the WH with Dr. Raul one Halloween when he wore his red devil suit & I was Witch Hillary! Great memories! Thanks for Free Republic, Jim!!!
I was actually mostly inactive during these years, working on my Tolkien Dictionary. I guess that I should have stuck with FR.
One poster above mentioned that FReepers should get back to local chapters - in case this web site gets shut down. Certainly FR was most effective when we were active on the local and state level. The story mentions California as the most active group, but Florida was giving them a good run off! :^D
