For months, I’ve been laying out evidence that: a new coronavirus was never properly discovered; the diagnostic tests are therefore meaningless; and most of the people who are sick are suffering from traditional illnesses which have been re-packaged under the empty umbrella label, “COVID.”
Of course, most people in the world have a religious belief in the new virus. And that opens the door to: “psychological COVID.”
Here is what it can look like.
A person is watching TV for hours. He’s treated to wall-to-wall news, ads, public service announcements—all about the virus and the pandemic. After days and weeks and months of this solid operant conditioning, he’s in the COVID frame of mind.
He’s IN the context, the box, the pattern, the story line.
He occasionally feels a bit of this and that: a scratchy throat, a sniffle. So he thinks, “Maybe this is the start of COVID.” One day, he has a headache. He thinks, “Didn’t they say that could be a symptom, too?”
He takes his temperature. 99.8. He tries to remember—“Isn’t my normal always a bit low?”
He calls his sister and asks her. She says, “Yes, you usually came up 98. Why? What’s the matter?”
“Nothing. I had a little cough yesterday, so I took my temperature. It was 99.8.”
“Call the doctor.”
“I’ll be fine.”
“You don’t know that. CALL THE DOCTOR.”
After talking to his sister, his throat feels raw. He makes some tea. He putters around the apartment. He feels tired. For a second, a pain shoots up his arm. “They said the virus could cause a heart problem.”
He goes to the fridge, takes out half a cake and eats a large slice. Now he really feels tired, so he lies down and goes to sleep. When he wakes up...

It is called Nosophobia, which is “irrational fear of having a specific disease”.

I personally know people in their 80's who were positive and had no symptoms.
COVID is going to do what it’s going to do. That’s what viruses do.
Is it worse than the flu? Probably. But still, locking down just delays the inevitable.
Why did they get tested if they had no symptoms? Exposure to someone ill?

Yes, still makes it real. My guess is that the subways and the high-rise buildings were the two big spreaders, high viral load in both places, and lockdowns forced everybody to stay in their buildings, but they were likely hanging out with each other in those buildings, which in low-income areas were probably commonly ventilated, and done so very poorly.

So are we,and my ex-husband was in a nursing home in April,got tested,no symptoms,and died a week later from Covid.

I am so sorry to hear about this woman. She really could use some extreme TV Detox and to find something else to dwell on now that she is home. Whatever personality disorders people had before this began, it’s only gotten worse for too many. Faith in Jesus Christ would help, and I am a living testimony to that rather late in life - however, the ones who are supposed to be leading their Flocks have disappointed monumentally by letting the Govt. shut them down, too.
It’s times like these that try men and women’s souls. How irrational have we really gotten that anyone can believe that out of a bat shishkabob, the entire world is dropping dead in the streets for no other reason and no other cause than the dreaded undocumented brand new COVID19? There is no scientific proof of that ever happening from a single cause from a single source, not in the past and not NOW. Official Lies are Still Lies.
But the article is right...every ache...every twinge...every chest tightness....is "maybe it's the covid". If it is it's the mildest disease I've ever had!
We have all seen people riding in thier cars with the widows rolled up wearing masks
I think the key difference is having patients that aren't bombarded with all kinds of viruses and bacteria all the time, mainly due to well trained and adequate staff.
I don’t know what’s been more “granular”, the facts or the confusion.

Neither, they are freaked out because their only source of news is the MSM. They get a little hostile if I try to offer some perspective.

That’s the best medicine for the disease and all other diseases for that matter.
I can only relay what I was told by him.
He teleworks just like me - pretty much confined.
The reason he pins it on his church gathering is because his whole family got it and they were all there along with others in the congregation who later confirmed they got it from that event too.
He mentioned the major lack of social distancing and hugging and handshakes.
Another point he made was how it impacts different people differently. His wife was out for about a week. One of his sons 3 days max. The other son was asymptomatic with just the loss of smell & taste. He on the other hand was KO’d for 3 weeks and came close to wanting to go to the hospital.
That’s all part of highly skilled Gaslighting.
